  1. I got my replacement and reinstalled it on Sat. So far so good. I haven't had any problems with it. Pioneer came through. It was a big pain having to send my stereo in twice and having to wait, but hey that's life. Hopefully I don't have to go through this again.
  2. Was emailing back and forth with Pioneer trying to figure out what the problem is. They finally decided that the unit has internal problems. This was what they origionally said. Since I sent it to them once already and they did not fix the problem, they decided that they would exchange it. So I had to send it back. They actually paid for the shipping. Once they receive it, they will send me the new one. Sent it out last Fri and they received it today. Hopefully I get the new one soon and it works the way it should. FYI, when contacting Pioneer, the 2 times i called, it took over a
  3. I don't know if anyone is still following this, but I got my unit back after waiting a month for it. I got it installed and yes, you guessed it, they didn't fix the problem. All the invoice said was they reset the unit???? I was told the unit was defective and needed to be sent in. So emailing back and forth again with pioneer,(It take a half an hour or more every time you try to call them.). I told them I can get them video, so they asked me to send them video. It wasn't hard to get it to mess up to get the video. . I had to put it on You Tube. Let me know if there are more of you
  4. I just got my unit back today from Pioneer after being gone for a month. I will get it installed back into my truck in the next few days and will let you know if they fixed the problem.
  5. Called Pioneer. Told them what was going on. Told them Antenna signal was good , plenty of satellites, all wiring was correct. They asked if I reset it and I told them yes. Long story short, my unit is on its way to pioneer for repair. They told me everything I tried and its still doing it, than the unit is defective. Bummer!!! I guess that's what warranties are for. Hopefully its not gone to long.
  6. I got a reply back from Pioneer after I sent them an email. The guy said it sounds like a faulty unit. He said to try and return it where I bought it. The store only has 30 day return. Looks like I will be sending it to Pioneer. You have to ship it to the factory. I sent my AVIC f700bt to them before and they actually repaired it and got it back to me pretty fast. bummer though.. I like the stereo but this Navigation problem is disappointing. I'm going to call them on Monday. I will post what happens.
  7. My 5000 NEX is doing the same thing. I will be going north on interstate and it will say I'm going South. Or just trying to drive off road. It jumps all over the place. I tried the antenna inside and out. All connections are right. My antenna strenght is good and satelites is good. A couple of times it did it at night and it was cloudy and windy. I attempted to email Pioneer about it and they never got back to me.
  8. Is there any way around the error codes I keep getting while trying to load this. It will say cannot copy a certain file and give me a code 50. It has got all the way up to just a few minutes to completion and than errors out and than its done. I have tried this several tmes. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks
  9. My AVIC 700BT just crashed. Will start up, but no maps and it won't play. I talked to someone about a year or so ago about reprogramming it for me but I don't remember his name. he said he could reprogram it for me while it is still in car. Anyone know of anybody who does this? I sent it to pioneer 2 years ago but really don't want to do this. Any info would be appreciated.
  10. I have been trying to decipher some of these posts on how to get my Samantha TTS english version back. It just disappeared one day off my F-700BT. Can anyone give me some simple instructions on getting it back on my system. Thanks
