  1. Hi, Sorry for the long delay. I can report that the rapid start warning was the cause of the message. Thank You

    130bt Auto EQ

I have also used the autoeq feature with my z130bt with the Pioneer mic. (found a used one cheap) I definitly enjoy the difference it made in the sound quality.
  3. Hi, So I have a Z130BT installed in my 2011 Subaru WRX. Everything is connected correctly, and it works great. That being said, I get a very strange message that pops up on my display that reads "Drive Safely" when I am driving. It happens generally when I start from a stop, and usually after I shift from 2nd into 3rd. When it happens, I hear a notification sound and the "Drive Safely" message appears. Does the Z130BT have some acceleration meter or something, going off if one accelerates too fast? It's not like I am accelerating extremely fast, and sometimes when I try to get the me
  4. Hi, I have used a tomtom, garmin, the nav that came with my f150, my wifes eclipse, and the z130. (I had a 110 before it). For me the Nav is just fine. What I usually like the most from any of my navigation systems is the ability to see street names, and my z130 provides that for me. (I use .25m settting). I used to use my Garmin 2460, and it drove me crazy on the lack of street names it would show me, and I hated the auto zoom feature that you couldn't turn off! Sure, the Nav on the z130 doesn't have some features that I liked on my garmin/tomtom, such as the display of my current s
  5. Well, I am keeping my Z130, and hopefully it will get all of the features of the Z140, but who knows. I am encouraged by the response, but it could be that they will leave out some features. Won't know until they outline it. Hopefully it will be just a full update like they have been doing in the past. (well, I think they have been doing a full update)
  6. FYI: From Pioneer's Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/PioneerNorthAmerica "Greg Kenney Any word if the AVIC-Z130BT will have software upgrades to being it up to par with the AVIC-Z140BH as far as the navigation and advanced app mode goes? Like· · 5 hours ago · Pioneer Electronics (North America) The navi upgrade will be available around the summer timeframe. The upgrade will offer NAVTEQ mapping and we will have more info on specific features in the near future. 2 hours ago · Like"
  7. When I had the 110, and the 120 was released, I think I finally got my update on July.
  8. This was just posted on Pioneer's Facebook page: "Pioneer Electronics (North America) The main differences between last year's AVIC-Z130BT and this year's AVIC-Z140BH is the mapping now from NAVTEQ for superior navigation and improved POI search, Advanced App Mode and HD Artist Experience." It would appear the Z130bt and below used Tele Atlas®.
  9. Hi, any ideas on how Android will integrate with the new Pioneer decks? Based on some emails I had with the Aha Radio development team, they have integrated control into their software, and were waiting for Pioneer to implement this control on their decks. So I assume it will be through bluetooth.
  10. Yea, I am setting myself up for some level of disappointment I will be happy if the z130bt can be upgraded with these features, and that I can get aha radio to work wih my android. (I already have the beta aha radio software, so would be cool to get functionality on my z130bt)
  11. Well, interesting, I did find based off of crutchfield, that the z130bt is capable of AVRCP: "Bluetooth Audio Players: In addition to supporting Bluetooth's Hands-Free Profile (HFP), the head unit also supports Bluetooth's wireless Audio Streaming Profile (A2DP) and Bluetooth's Audio Control Profile (AVRCP). These features allow you to wirelessly transmit music from your Bluetooth compatible cell-phone or portable audio player to the AVIC-Z130BT so you can listen to your stored music files through your vehicle's audio system." http://www.crutchfield.com/S-F21LnbrtcCs/p_130AVIC130/Pion
  12. I did a review of the z140 specs to the z130, and they appear to be 99% the same. The main difference seems to be the bluetooth of the z140 "Bluetooth® Built-In (HFP/A2DP/AVRCP)". I believe the z130 has HFP (hands free) and A2DP (audio streaming), but not AVRCP (which is what I bet allows control of Aha and Pandora). I don't know if AVRCP is purely software, or if there is a hardware component involved.
  13. When I compare it too the Z130BT press release, they seem to be roughly the same specs. Hopefully the new stuff of the z140, such as the android device connectivity, is all software based, and be avaialble in the z130 with an upgrade.
  14. Hi, Seems to be the same as when the z130bt was released. Looking at Pioneer's press release, they do show 1200. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Press-Room/Car-Audio-Video/New+Pioneer+Advanced+Navigation+Systems+Keep+Consumers+Connected,+Informed+and+Entertained "The AVIC-X940BT and AVIC-Z140BH will be available in April for suggested prices of $800 and $1200, respectively."
  15. Now lets hope the z110-z130 will be upgradable to the z140! I want that android control.......
