I must have misunderstood something when I talked to the initial installer...at any rate, I unhooked the parking brake wire and all seems to be working great! Thanks for your help

I connected the vehicle's parking wire to the same ground wire as the head unit.

I did the hardware hack/bypass for the DVD nav, and everything works (can access dvd and navigation with no problem). HOWEVER, now the parking brake chime beeps anytime I'm moving (and the light is on all the time. What does this mean? Has anyone else had this problem? I haven't done the software mod yet, would this solve the problem? Help please!
