  1. If the lat/long GPS settings in the sys.txt doesn't help perhaps you could delete the France maps? I only have maps for my country on my unit, maybe it is why I am not having the same problem. You could also try setting Primo to Greenwich time rather then Auto time zone.
  2. Thanks! I ordered an OBDII to usb; hopefully AVICnet has the right drivers. I was surprised to see that the Check Engine software also works on Windows!
  3. I need a copy of "my flash disk" from a Euro unit complete with English TTS, do you know where I can find one?
  4. Did you add the GPS long/lat to your sys.txt? If not, add: [gps] default_latitude="50.078671" default_longitude="14.436781" I believe these are the coordinates for Prague.
  5. OK, here are the steps for people experiencing GPS fix issues within Primo (due to gyro sensor), it is for f900bt and x910bt users only: 1) Update the CE5 winCE firmware image using the following steps. For NA units, use the download on the fx3.1 page: http://avic411.com/i...firmware-image/, or you can use this one: http://avic411.com/i...install-guide/. For Euro users make sure you have winCE 5 on your unit. If so all you need is CE6. If you need CE5 you should be able to use the one from the Italian thread: http://www.ulozto.cz/11020524/ce5-rar . Here is how as to update your winCE as pe

Includes gps programs 7ways and Navigon (no maps for either) and Pictures_cars_girls for apl4 folder: dead password3.rar AVIC Net 2.1 12/04/18: dead password.rar Please do not share the download or password here or anywhere else! This is a primo.exe file which allows Primo 2.0 navigation sound regardless of source: Primo.rar Note to change volume you must change your stock system
  7. AVICnet is originaly a Russian mod which vastly increases the functionality of our AVICs, mainly by allowing us to easily use winCE programs such as iGo Primo and HobDrive. Below is an English variation. Enjoy! A Few Notes - There are no maps included in the download below, you must copy the maps you want onto your unit. - The stock iGo TTS files have been removed to save space. You can put them back in if you prefer, simply copy the My Flash Disk\APL2\iGo\ScanSoft onto your unit. You should have these files from when you initially backed up your unit. 8. It makes sense that it won't show your position if it somehow initialized in another county (France for you). For myself it initialized in Ottawa (our capital city) and despite it being 3400 km away it is still the same county so it gets a fix at my location. Did you try ovalball's sys.txt yet? I certainly hope the issue is fixed by using his sys.txt and/or adding your gps coordinates in the sys.txt.
  9. Can anyone verify that by using ovalball's sys.txt their location issues have been corrected? One more thing to try for Euro users having issues, add the following to your sys.txt: [gps] default_latitude="34.05116" default_longitude="-118.24258" With your home location's long/lat.
  10. To fix your satellite issues try the following: delete the save folder in the Primo directory, and reset to defaults. Add the following to your sys.txt: [gps] default_latitude="34.05116" default_longitude="-118.24258" If you are in North America you need an MSN direct subscription for traffic. There are 3D cars in Primo, go to Map Settings and you will find them there.
  11. Euro AVIC users are having the issue of getting a GPS fix but not displaying a position on the map. Ovalball has posted his sys.txt in the Primo thread (Post #225) which will hopefully correct the issue; we are yet to hear back from anyone with verification however. So far as your 3D jet issue, you will have to wait for Chuck to reply.
  12. Sorry, I don't quite understand. Did you try ovalball's sys.txt? At what point did you start getting fatal application errors?
  13. Smartzoom can be found in Map Settings. You can set the automatic overview to on/of/only on highway if user zoom settings are off, or control your own with user settings on. I find the best settings are: Viewpoint = high User zoom settings = on Min angle = 60 Max angle = 70 Max angle with signposts = 78 Speed zoom = on Speed angle = on Min Speed = 30 km/h Max Speed = 80 km/h Overview = off If you would like Primo to run with a lower memory requirement place the following in the sys.txt: [debug] max_memory=35000000 reserve_memory=1700000 cache=600000 I can confirm
  14. Hello Abb, welcome back. Chuck hasn't been around for a bit. I can answer a few of your questions if you like. 1) When Primo is launched it kills the iGo process, so the only way to get back to stock is to reboot. It is a bit of a memory hog, and there are memory errors with both the stock iGo and Primo running simultaneously. Primo can be set for lower memory requirements in the sys.txt if one would like both to run together. There is also the issue that when the stock iGo is running Primo will not detect the GPS. I noticed the Italian release of AVICnet has a port splitter which all
  15. Use Google Chrome, it will translate the page to English for you.
  16. So weird. More then half the people posting in Primo threads seem to be from Europe and no one has mentioned similar problems. Even a newer version and sys.txt didn't help? Maybe ovalball can help since he seems to no have the problem.
  17. For Euro AVIC users try the file below. It is a never initialized fresh copy of the May 2011 release with a minimal sys.txt. Delete the entire Primo directory in My Flash Disk and copy onto your unit. I tested it on my US f500bt and it worked perfectly. I hope it solves your satellite and speedcam warning issues. Please leave some feedback as to how it works and if it solved any issues you have been having. http://hotfile.com/d...ay2011.rar.html
  18. Delete the ui_pioneer folder and add: 1 run 'START_APPLICATION "\My Flash Disk\APL2\iGo\run\button\button.exe" ""' in your start.ui file inside your data zip right under <state st_Start> <script init>.
  19. It should, it is where the Russian voices are located. Now the question is will your TTS announce them with those files gone?
  20. edit: On second thought, if you did not modify the start.ui file inside your data.zip the download for Diafti's mod on post #2 should work.
  21. Russian speedcams, really? Well isn't that random. I didn't think there were any Russian voices included. Perhaps copy the contents from igo\content\speedcam to primo\content\speedcam and delete speedcam="..\..\IGO\content\speedcam" in the sys.txt. Sometimes there is strange behavior with iGo and Primo sharing the same files, and we never tried sharing the speedcams before now. So weird how it gives you a fix and then doesn't on the same trip; I will try and do some research when I get some time and solve this issue.
  22. You can safely delete the save file inside the Primo folder and it will recreate it upon your first launch; the only thing it contains is favorites/settings/presets/ect for Primo. Back up first just in case!
