  1. No, it shouldn't matter that you are using a power supply. It will take longer than 5 seconds on some units. I hold all 4 buttons in for 12 seconds then release the reset and hold the remaining 3 in. If you listen closely, you will hear a change in fan speed and it may take up to another 12 seconds for the blue screen to appear. It may take 3 or 4 tries using this method. Make sure you are holding all the buttons in that your supposed to be. Good luck!
  2. Hello. I would like to try your testmode as my unit id is now 0X:0000. I have two problem units. This first one is a F700 and it loads the new WINCE images (reads & writes 100%). When I go to reset the unit to boot up in tesstmode, the screen remains black. When I push the 4 buttons to get back to service menu, it skips the first screen where you enter the service combination and goes directly to the blue screen that has the Upgrade CE menu. I have used the WinCE card and testmode on other units so I'm pretty sure they are not corrupt. I also have a F900bt that hangs up after reading
  3. You have to tap the power into the reverse lights. These are the clear ones in your tail lights that come on when the car is put in reverse. When they power up, they activate the rear camera on your head unit and Voila! Hope this helps!
