I have found the crimp pins for the avic x910 but I need to know the wiring connectors on the metra 70-1787 I dont like to solder and want straight wires and the wires on the metra are too big to fit into the avic harness. So my only option is to crimp the avic wires themselves.

I was woundering since i have two lillput touchscreens sitting on a shelf if it was possible to hook them up to the x910 and say use all features of the deck through them ? Would like to put them in the trunk.

Pulling the deck out seemed to fix it upon closer attention going closer towards the speaker it only softend the hum/buzzing noise im still proplexed .

Ok I pulled the deck out 2 inches it went away now I got to figure if I need to keep all those wires extreamly far away from the deck lol

Thanks for the quick reply any way ya i have tried one i have tried 4 it comes out of any one i hook an rca into and its not so much a hum but the sound of power maybe?. No clue what it is maybe i need a filter?

I have to say here is a link to a youtube video where you can kinda here the problem . I just installed the x910bt into a 2000 audi a6. I have a terriable humming noise when the rca for the speakers are pluged in I have the metra wiring harness for a factory amped bose unit . I performed a bypass and only had 5 wires i had to solder on the kit , postive,negative,memory,illumination,and amp signal wire.

Man if the place I bought the avic from really cared about the customers they wouldn't of sold me the wire for the 920 when they sold me a 910 deck lol fuggg thanks guys for the heads up on pioneers site

Ok maybe I didn't get the right iPod wire then I belive I have the u50 version pioneer wire with the USB side and a headphone jack? I thought it pluged into the wired remote only and I have the x910 deck is it right wire ?

Hey guys you all are the reason i bought this deck with all the things you have done to them and the fact there is so much knowladge on these fourms. I have only one question since i was on hold with pioneer for an hour with no help i have the pac steering wheel and the ipod wire I want to assume its ok to split the wired remote port? Now off to hack it for all the nice little mods.
