No I have not (Have you tried it or anyone else?) but I guess that is really my question though, I want to try this adapter but will it still allow me to use the "pandora" interface with the iphone 5?? AND will it charge my phone?? If so then I will definelty purcahse it, video I believe I heard doesnt work I think but that is not a big deal to me as long as I can use pandora and it charges my phone.

I have been searching through these forums and am still a littled confused as to exactly what I should purchase for my 920x......I have the apple connect pioneer wire hooked up to my old ipod directly from the back of the deck but I would like to utilize my iphone 5 with it as well now mainly just for the "pandora" and "phone charging" capability but I would still like to use my old ipod (with the old connection 30pin I believe) as well and just occasionally the iphone 5 for pandora. So what would you recomend I buy? and where? Will I still have Pandora touch screen features. I'm hoping for

Its going in a 2004 Santa Fe. I was thinking of just doing it myself and then giving it to him and install it and tell him forget the dumb switch. But if i do the bypass it will probably void the warranty...so wont the switch keep the warranty? (or i guess if it was ever broke i could just get a new harness conector from pioneer right? And then return it? So warranty would be fine i think) I actually hacked my N2 along time ago and sent it to pioneer to be fixed and they actually FIXED it but took out the hack. At least this new hack doesnt mess with the HU itself.

I just ordered my x920bt and talked to the guy who I was going to have install it. He works at best buy and said that he would be able to do the bypass (not suppose to though obviously) with a toggle switch that he prefers to do. I tried telling him that the bypass was actually very easy to do and tried explaining it to him but he said that he would do the toggle switch and it should work fine. I'm kinda nervous though, WILL THIS WORK??? SHOULD I LET HIM??? WILL EVERYTHING BE ACCESSIABLE AND HACKED WITH THE TOGGLE SWITCH??? I have an OLD avic N-2 and am looking to upgrade and for the past month trying to decide what to go with. Cost is def a consideration but I found I can get the z120 for $1,100 or the x920 for $750 at al-eds.com (plus MIR for $100 I think....is that still going on???) What are some of the big differences between the two....If I buy the x920 can I use the pandora link? Do I have to pay for upgrades to it? Is the Nav similar on both? I have owned the avic N1 (old school) for years now and have been checking out all the new models and really like the Z110 and am looking to upgrade finally. I have a sirius box hooked up to my avic n1 and the controls are not good and I noticed from the vids I seen online of the Z110 it is compatable with XM, I was just wondering if anyway here has SIRIUS hooked up INSTEAD of XM and how the interface looks? Will the picture of the channel display come up even though it is sirius and not XM? Will my sirius radio hook up the same pretty much as with my N1? Thanks for the help, glad I found
