  1. Haven't tried it but i'd think if you hit the home button then phone you could hit the dialpad option ?
  2. Do you have a stock setup w/factory amps or aftermarket amps ?
  3. Yeah, I'll get a GLI and install it eventually, its not that annoying yet LOL the main thing that is annoying is a typical problem where theres a shimmer or wave on the black bars around video, almost like its struggling to be solid black. Haven't seen any solutions or reasons for it yet.
  4. I unhooked everything a couple times till i got it to not do it, So I'm guessing my connections just weren't clean enough, the only problem i have is if the volume is down and i accelerate you can hear it in the speakers. But it's only when the volume is below 3 thats it's able to be heard.
  5. Cut the end of the remainder pin off the mute wire, strip back the wire a little so you can get the pin covered, then solder the wire to the pin and slide it in, or just buy a new harness and try again.
  6. You should just do the bypass yourself. What kind of vehicle is it going in ?
  7. Gotcha yeah I looked at the audiovox, its just a little more than i wanted to spend. But I'm pretty sure its about the right size, never actually test fit. Get some pics up of your install when you get around to modifying it I'd be interested to see how you do it.
  8. What about shaving the edge on the audiovox ? or is it the threaded part thats too big ?
  9. Maybe you should try to reset it to factory default and just reset your other settings ?
  10. its good, i was just trying to see something, but i got it figured out, thanks.
  11. Is there anyways to get the remote wire to shut off, or to get the head unit to fully shut off ? I have a bose system and have been having issues installing the h/u I got it to work finally, but i hear a constant faint noise like you would hear in between tracks ? So I figured if there was a way besides installing a switch on the remote wire then that would solve the problem. thanks for help and suggestions.
  12. I would do the bypass yourself, VBlue doing that should fix it i'd imagine, right ?
