  1. No, this is still a weak spot. My old Magellan GPS had much better detail in the maps, so I don't know why these maps in the 310BT lack detail.
  2. You only need the CNSD-130FM. It's better value too as you get the pois and new software.
  3. Just got my update delivered from Pioneer Canada. Installed smoothly but really did take about 20 minutes. My connected iPod continued to play throughout the update! POIs were also added, but the SD card with the POIs has to be kept in the unit to use them. Not a biggie. I had a 2GB card available. Haven't played with the interface that much, some things have changed, others have not. I have the parking brake grounded but some menus do indeed disable when the vehicle is moving. I've seen mostly settings menus turn off. I was able to choose a poi and make a phone call from m
  4. This probably won't be any help to you, but it appears that the contact list is pretty limited in this unit. I've transferred contacts from my Blackberry Pearl and it grabs last name, first name and shows that on the display. My problem is that if I have multiple numbers for a single contact (i.e. home, work, mobile), it shows up as identically named entries, eg: Doe, John Doe, John Smith, Fred Smith, Fred Smith, Fred with no indication of which number is which! Not very useful. Perhaps a firmware update will fix this, otherwise I'd have to create separate entries for each pho
  5. I'd love to see a review on this. If it really improves the maps and pois it might be worth it. For what I paid for the 310BT, this might be a worthwhile upgrade. I'm happy with the unit but the maps could be better.
  6. 1.0004 is available on the Pioneer UK site for the F310BT not the U310BT. The only comment on that site is that it "improves" the bluetooth microphone. Whatever that means. 1.0003 works well enough for me to not attempt this upgrade.
