Just got an Lg vx8600 last night from Verizon. I tried for an hour and a half last night to pair it with my D3, no luck. This morning I tried again and in less then three minutes I was paired and registered. I did nothing different last night or this morning, but it works and I'm happy. The search button on the D3 got me connected.

What serviceand phone do you have?

Yes, I've even had the mic in my hand and distance hardly seems to matter.

I have a D3 with btb200. I have Verizon with a moto e815. Everything works fine except people tell me I sound like I'm in a tunnel. Talking right into the mic doesn't help. I here them fine. Is my problem with Verizon, the phone or Pioneer. What do you guys think.

Another illumination question. I just installed a D3 in my 06 G35 coupe. The orange wires I connected up are going to an empty spot on the car connector. Does anyone know what color car wire and on what harness?

How about a picture or two of that G35 with the D3.

Now that the hack is known, and we're grounding the mute wire. Does this mean the D3 won't mute when a call comes in on bluetooth?
