  1. Hi guys, first time owning a Pioneer and now attempting to update my Z120BT to the latest Z130BT. Is there a direct link to download/torrent this packge? I am a bit confused by the various options and the discussion on updating Z110BT to Z120BT first. Please help!
  2. Can't seem to find the torrent link on this site to upgrade my Z120BT to Z130BT. Does anyone have it? Or should I not bother because the Z140BT upgrade is coming out soon?
  3. I'd like to know the same thing as well. Or is it time to forget about the Pioneer mics and go straight to an alternative vendor's mic? But which one has been tested to work well with the Z1X0?
  4. Pandora was removed from Appstore Canada due to some copyright issues, so no, I don't have other apps to try yet. Using the iPhone 4, even though the play/pause, next/prev track controls are available, the album art, song name, song info are all missing. Has anyone else found the same?
  5. I have the Z120BT and I also don't see the album art etc being streamed from my iphone 4.
  6. I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 4.1, but when source is set to BT Audio with the iPod app streaming via bluetooth successfully, I still don't see any meta data on the screen of X120BT. The only thing showing is: "iPhone connecting.. Connect"
  7. AVIC Feeds related question: I can't seem to create POI's with the AVIC Feeds app by using the geotagged photos taken with iPhone 4 and saved into the Camera Roll of iphone. When I tap on the Photos within the App, it has a blank list. According to Pioneer's website, AVIC Feeds allows: "Saved Photos - Geotagged photos sent to users or photos from the internet can be used as a POIs""
  8. I just tried AVIC Feeds, it seems to create an entry in Address Book for every location it saves, which is redundant, as I already have some contacts in Address Book with the same name/location. Is there a way to stop AVIC Feeds from creating duplicate contacts in Address Book but still allows it to work?
  9. According to Pioneer's website, the AVIC Feeds App features: "Saved Photos - Geotagged photos sent to users or photos from the internet can be used as a POIs" But, when I tap on Photo on AVIC Feeds itself, no photos are listed there. Photos saved from Safari into the Camera Roll on the iphone 4 are also absent. So my question is, how do you use iPhone 4 to customize "geotagged photos" to the POIs?
  10. Hi guys, sorry for sounding repetitive, but just to double check (I have read the manual but still confused): when CD-IU50V is used, then the mini-jack is not required. is this correct? Thanks.
  11. what is the likelihood that Pioneer steps up this "eco" feature on the next release cycle on the flagship Z-series? Just wondering if I have to get the Garmin unit now to get the ODB II data.
  12. Garmin has a product (cable) that's called "EcoRoute HD" at https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=38354 It connects to a ODB II port and the other end connects to regular Garmin GPS units to transform them into a full ODB II reader, diagnostic tool, to see all kinds of info plus monitoring fuel consumption. Just curious if Pioneer will ever come out with a "cable" like Garmin's to enable the readout information to be displayed on screen? After all, Pioneer even calls that the "Eco" feature with some kind of distance/fuel info, which seems they are keen on implementing features
  13. According to pg.8 the manual, why does it say that "when connecting to your iPod, both connections (USB and mini-jack) are necessary"? I thought iPod connects to USB to get full audio and video, and the second Apple Composite AV Cable would just connect to the mini-jack to get full video and audio?
  14. I read from another forum that Garmin has a new product called "Garmin EcoRoute HD" that allows it's GPS units to be connected to the ODB II port to display all kinds of cool info such as fuel consumption, carbon footprint, engine performance etc. I know that the current Pioneer does not have a ODB II port, but is there a possible hack to display the ODB II data using one of the many ODB II devices via the external sources of the Pioneer? One option I can think of is to use a jailbroken iPhone/iPod to run some of the OBD II apps ( http://www.plxkiwi.com/kiwiwifi/hardware.html ), and
  15. About to order the screen protector on eBay called "CLEAR LCD Screen Protector 7 inch GPS 152mm x 92mm", but I can't seem to find the screen dimension of the 120BT, can anyone confirm that? thanks.
