  1. I have an HTC Touch Pro (ATT Fuze) and I didn't know that you could do anything other than the Phone function via Blue tooth, I have tried several functions but to no avail. Haven't really spent much time with it though. would love to know if this works.
  2. Carrier: AT&T / Cingular Phone name/model: HTC Fuze (Raphael) Transfer Contacts: Able to transfer all 107 contacts at one. Will have to go back and delete the e-mail addresses if you imported from outlook Calling: Full calling funtionality Running an Avic Z3 and ND-BT1
  3. For those who attempted to help me out with the intermittent XM issue that I had... I have the problem corrected. I recently upgraded to a Z3 and when I went to pick up the truck from the shop I had no XM signal. The installer found that the P10XMT module was defective and replaced it but I still had no siganl. He sent me on my way still with no XM. For S&G's I drove the same route that I was first noticing this issue and still the same thing. Long story short I found that I had a bad module as well as a bad antenna. when I mentioned That I had replaced them both they weren't both done at
  4. I have a 2005 Silverado LT3 and my satellite lead is too short ( I have the xm tuner under the console tray. did you use an extension? where did you install the tuner?
  5. NOw for an update on my Saga. I have since the last post replaced the Antenna and the XM module All with no help. I have pulled the Head unit back out and found that I may have missed a ground wire. That has all been corrected and I even un-did the bypass just to make sure. I get XM signal in the same places on my 37 mile commute to work every day and loose it in the same places as well. I am at a complete loss for what is causing this. The XM status screen shows "no signal" unless I am in one of those 2 places, then is shows perfect signal. Is there anyone in the Northern VA (installer) area
  6. I can take a pick of the end that plugs into the sat module (that's the standard one for the pioneer module. I am a little reluctant to pull the head liner out just yet. That's a lot of work without having gone to XM for a complete account review yet. replacing the guts in the factory housing isn't something that I hade thought of. Knowing those idiots at tweeter, that's most likely exactly what they did. I will try to have the pic tomorrow if it's still something that you are looking for.
  7. I guess that I am screwed in the respects then (another plug for how bad Tweeters are for installs), they did not give me the antenna that came with the D2. I take it the antenna is bolted on from the underneath. Is there any way to check the antenna and cable with a multimeter before I go ripping the antenna off? I would there there should be some ohm range ir such that it should be reading at the module end of the cable to give me some idea if what is the cause.
  8. Anyone ever replace or take the stock XM antenna off the roof of a Silverado?
  9. Thanks for the info. Yeah the xm traffic stops at the triangle exit. That I was aware of. The issues where I ran into the problems most often were in Dale City and Woodbridge. Of the year that I had the TRaffic svc it only helped me out of a jamb a few times. It sounds like you know that part of the corridor fairly well so you understand that is a fairly low number for the area. Thanks for the reply though. Now if I cold only get my XM working again. Any ideas http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight=
  10. OK, I have searched the forums until I can't see straight and have been unable to find anything to point me in the right direction so here is my saga... I cancelled my XM-navtraffic account but kept the XM and about 1 month later I pulled my D1 (now D2) out to do the brake bypass and in the process found one nasty mess of wires and connectors ( I let tweeter install everything, big mistake) after cleaning up the rats nest and putting everything back together, the next morning I was on my way to work and noticed that I had no XM (I didn't think to check it that night). I have a 72 mile round t
  11. I may be wrong but I don't think the DVD changer can read DL discs. I actually don't have either right now. The cost is going to be about the same... to buy and Ipod and interface or get the DVD changer. I am not liking what I am seeing about the Ipod interface. I want the same funtionality with the touch screen that I have with the onboard CD player and from what I am seeing I am not going to get that with the Ipod set up. pls some one correct me if I am wrong. I have posted elsewhere on here about the new USB module and what a piece of GARBAGE it is. I don't want to make the same mistake aga
  12. I went to the link that was liste above. Obviously not a Dx series. how muxh of that display would we actually get on a D2 Model? I have been searching on this forum for several days and not having much luck. The search feature here really leaves a lot to be desired. Any help would be appreciated. I am trying to weigh the pros and cons of the IPOD setup vs. the XDV-P6
  13. It might work for you folks in MD but driving into Falls Church From Stafford VA every day, it left me sitting in grid lock more than it got me out of it. I actually called to complain to XM one time while I had been sitting on I95 for 20 mins and they said that there was no indication of congestion... I cancelled my subscription the next day.
  14. Actually yes I did check the compat listing and yes the d2 is listed.I even went so far as to D/L the owners manual before ordering but as I stated in the opener you don't fully understand what you are getting until you have it powered up in front of you.
  15. Blizz. I hope you kept your changer that you were going to use this to replace.
