  1. I think it should be an option... disable front view restriction? yes/no if anyone gets into an accident from being distracted, that's their own fault, they shouldn't be allowed to drive haha
  2. right, like that's not obvious... I already had gone through and searched for what I was in need of assistance with, and that brought me to this thread... in any case I resolved the issue myself and modded/bypassed the safety crap which restricted me from doing anything while driving, dumb idea in my opinion... if you have a passenger why are they somehow incapable of messing with a navigation system or watching a video simply because the driver cannot? rhetorical question.
  3. it appears my mechanic thought that by not hooking up the ebrake cable or brake cable or w/e that he was bypassing the no navi while drivey crap therefore I can't do anything about the settings until monday since he's busy. this sucks... is there any pictures or anything that show how to connect the brake cable? I could do it myself, just don't see anything mentioning that step in the installation manual
  4. I've tried starting up the engine and having my foot on brake and ebrake pulled as far back as possible, yet all the options are still greyed out. Possibility my mechanic could of done a wrong bypass... he just told me he made it so the car doesn't have to be parked to make use of the navi Only none greyed out variables on the console are my AV source and like a few random things in the navigation area... can't pair my phone or anything... I know the bluetooth works and the gps works simply because my phone see's the console, and I can see where I'm going on the map... just can't manually
