I am looking for an N3 brain...where did you find that deal?

I just bought the xm tuner that goes along with my N3. it came with an antenna and the installation manual for my n3 shows that it doesnt have to be hooked up. IS this true? Thanks

Hi everybody!!! here's what I've got: N3 unit, N1 brain, 2 headrest monitors....my problem: I've read that the N series has trizone..where you can have a dvd playing for the head rest monitors while using either the nav or radio up front. IS there a way to have the front not only use the radio but maybe my ipod or 12 disc changer whille playing dvd in the headrest monitors? I've looked at the manual and not too sure how to set it up to do this. I've changed the settings on my N3 for the rear display as "source". Any help would be appreciated. 2nd...with the 2 headrest monitors th

THanks for your help. Found out it's my Speed sensor causing the problem. actually an easy fix DIY. Part costed me $70 from dealer (bc I couldnt get it anywhere else) and labor is just me. Mechanic wanted to charge me 2 hrs of labor and about a week to get the part. dealer had it for me in 2 days. So thanks for your help anyway.

Hellp all I have an 01 Xterra with an N3. I have had this for almost 1/2 a year and everythign is going well. Utnil today. While out of town my Xterra's speedometer suddenly went and stayed at 0. The odometer is no longer addign milage either. And my N3 is now all wacky with the direction my X is on the nav screen. After doing some research and checking the wires I found that the problem may be related to the speed sensor in the speedo being dead. does anyone know if this would be the culprit of the problem that I am having? SO today I was drving around and blaring my n3. then all the sudden I hear this hum noise and all the sound goes out. The hum is still there and it's coming from my sub. there is no sound at all coming from any of my other speakers. can anyone help me? IS this something with the N3 or something with my speaker wiring? I've had my n3 for about 5 months. any help would be appreciated. THanks

Hey I'm installing my N3 today and cant find the light gren parking wire on the harness. can anyone tell me what slot it is suppose to be at? I noticed that there is an empty slot right in the middle. I'm hoping that someone has pics of this harness and can send me one to show me where this light green wire is suppose to be.

Hey I'm getting ready to install my N3 and I was looking at the INstall guide from Pioneer and it's kinda sketchy at how to route the IP bus cables for the hookup that I want. Hre's what I have N3 Head unit & brain, Ipod Adapter (CD-IB100II), and pioneer 12 disc changer. I need to know the best way to hook up all three. THanks

....ok I reead your sitcky about reading your vehicle specific wiring diagrams and am still puzzled about some of the other stuff...I understand the color of the wire but the (+) after it? does that mean that it has a positive charge when checked with a multimeter? is ther emore than one wire with the same color? Thanks again.

What is the tach info for? I thought all I had to do was hook up the VSS wire to the pink? I dont see what the Tach info is for....can you give me some more info? and thanks for the other information...I do appreciate all the help!

Needing to find a good place to put the GPS antenna, where the VSS wire is and all the other wires necessary to hook my AVIC-N3 up. Help would be much appreciated!
