  1. I had NO problem hooking mine up. I used the metra wiring harness which if I remember correctly turns my N3 into 4 rca outputs. (one for each set of speakers, LF,RF,LR,RR and somehow the amp gets a bass signal out of that to the sub) If you pull your factory deck out this is what you should see. So, just hook the metra into the N3 and the rca's to the factory ones in your truck and your set! piece of cake. If you need help specifically with your truck though, I'd search the jeep forums because I gaurantee someone will have done what your trying to do already.
  2. And, about the speed signal, I ran mine without being hooked up for a long time and the nav was only so-so. i found myself driving off the road on the nav and when I stopped the nav didn't always stop. Sometimes it just kept going and it really got out of whack. Once I hooked up my speed sensor, it works flawlessly and is soo much more accurate. I would never run without it again. So, take the time to hook it up and you'll be alot happier.
  3. I would definetly use the factory amp if you are integrating the factory speakers. I have a montero with the upgraded infinity system and there was NO WAY to integrate the two tweeters plus the sub and 4 midrange by using just my N3. It was going to be WAY too much work and way too much money so instead I just ordered a METRA wiring harness and it was a simple plug and play application from the N3 to the factory RCA's to the amp and now all my speakers work properly and my stereo sounds perfect.
  4. I found that it wasn't until after I moved it onto the roof that I finally got excellent reception. It was on my dash but I have a steep windshield so I think the roof hindered some of the signal.
  5. I just noticed this myself the other day. Really surprised me because I don't THINK this was on the previous disc's, or at least maybe I didn't ever zoom in enough when I was downtown. Pretty cool though, wish the entire maps were like this
  6. i noticed new streets (obviosly) on the WEST disc and also noticed that certain areas on the maps (ie. residential, commercial, industrial) show up with different colors. Oh yea, and the bootup screen reads PIONEER 05/07... can't forget about that. hehe I had to convert the mds file I think(whichever was the bigger of the two files) to an ISO and then burnt it. I used MagicISO and then burned with decrypter. Worked great first try! I think there's an easier way to do it though if someone can enlighten us. I believe it involves the second file somehow but not sure.
  7. Why pay for it when here's the torrent Link: http://search.utorrent.com/search.php?q ... ihq%3d&u=1 I'll be seeding the WEST disk for the next few days for anyone that wants it. Enjoy
  8. In response to "buy a copy like everyone else" .. haha why don't YOU go buy a copy like everyone else. From Pioneer I mean. How is downloading it for free any more immoral or wrong than what you are doing. In your case it's actually worse because someone is making money off you by bootlegging software.
