but no 32 pin plug is there. The reverse lights still appear to be where you said. Look - I know I'm probably being a pain in your ass But I really appreciate & need your help. Please let me know if you have any other ideas on where the speed sensor wire might be. 99 was the first year of a new gen of odysseys - so I'm wondering if the 2000 wiring info might be more accurate. I've got the center (trim) panel removed - I don't see any 32 pin plug. Am I looking in the wrong spot? Is the speed sensor behind the speedometer somewhere? I'll see if I can figure this thing out - but any info you can offer is helpful. The reverse wire should be easy to find - I already located the fuse. I just need to locate the plug. I appreciate the posts and messages from all of you - especially cntrylvr79 and Reach. I'm ready to go and install (will do the whole shebang myself sometime this week). I already got the harnesses ready (mute wire switched and attached to parking brake wire from D-3 & attached to ground on harness and D-3 harness). I still have a couple of questions though: 1. Does anyone know where the speed sensor and which wire I need to connect to in a 1999 Honda Odyssey? 2. Same vehicle - where is the reverse signal wire? Other than these two wires - I'm ready to go. Still waiting

I would be interested in hearing from more people who have had the bypass work for them and those who haven't. I'm trying to decide whether to install this myself or let the pros do it. I'm not an installer and would prefer to have the pros do it - but if I can't get the bypass (ie nav changes while driving) then I'll have to do the whole install myself. Did the people who are having problems connect the parking wire and the mute wire to the ground wire or elsewhere on the chassis? If so, does anyone have a clue what their problem is?
