I got the speed sensor wire hooked up and the map tells me correctly what road I am on but before you could see the nearby roads with names and the pointer (your vehicle)...now I still see the pointer but no roads or road names, just dots where the roads are, the vehicle dynamics are working, speed and direction, sat. signal is good, everything else looks good...what happened to showing the nearby roads and their names?

I am trying to verify this also... I have a friend and his 5.5 gen ipod classic will play video through his dock sta. on his tv and another friend with a 6 gen and in the same dock won't play the video, just the audio and the 6 gen wont play the video on my D3, have not tried the 5.5 gen, he is kinda anal but working on it... I believe I read something about this somewhere, hope someone who knows will chime in and shed some light on this.

I guess I was asking an opinion based upon the original new price of like $800-900, then used are they worth the $350-400 range taking into consideration age, longevity and problems/repair,...I don't know these units so I was asking if someone could give an informed opinion.

What is a used D3 in good condition (no scratches on screen) with wiring harness worth? I see these sell for $350-400 area on ebay.

Hi to all... First post, and I have no idea about these units but I am looking for maybe a D3 or a 920 or maybe there are others, the D3 has the features I want except for voice control nav you have to have the nav disk in, does the 920 have the nav info in memory or read from the disk? And the D3 you could use your own screen pics and hide the menu so you would see your screen pic instead of the menu, will the 920 do this? And the D3 is capable of bypass for the passenger, can the 920 also be bypassed for driving? Is there a feature vs feature for these units? I am looking for a unit
