I have a z1 upgraded to a Z3 with 60gb drive if you are interested. -
I got my unit back an installed it today with no problems. I am not sure what the issue was.

Can you elaborate on this "check the settings on ipod or phone tv out should be on if it is not you will get those noises." I tried to install my unit and had noise unlike alternator noise. After sending it back they told me my unit was fine but I did not get any video out using ipod or DVD.

If I have an extra harness that I can pull a wire and pin from. Can I add the wire to the new slot and still use the existing wire that I believe is the mute wire?

So what do you think think the issue is? I also have a GMOS-01 in it as well.

So Onlinecarstereo.com sends me videos of them testing my Z130BT with no issues. They told me I did not have the accessory box plugged in and that is why the video out did not work and that is why I have the hum in the sub channel. I think something is wrong here. Can anyone comment on if this is accurate? "Your receiver was tested and found to be free of defect. So i am going to get a replacement HU. I am not sure why my iphone sounded so crappy using the iphone4, but it may have been a result of something related to the video out issue. I have seen other people on the boards talk about the ipod/iphone issue. I love the ipod interface, but is that normal for the audio?

I thought I had the video out working last night. It would never send a signal out to the headrest monitors, just a hum to the audio chanels. I tested it everway known to man and the diagnosis IMO is that the unit is defective. I pulled it and boxed it back up to return to online car stereo.

I am not going to mess with it. I think it's defective and I am going to return it. It won't display video out.

I have one for sale. I just installed it and did not care for it. Make me an offer if you are interested.

The strange thing is that I did not have it with my Z3.

If I disconnect the video RCA it goes away.

I got the video to work, now I just have the hum with the rear channel RCAs.

I am installing my new Z130BT today and cannot get the video out to work. When I hook the video out to my rear monitors I get an awful hum and well as no video out signal. This worked fine with my Z3 but not with the Z130. Any suggestions? I have tried different video cables and also hooked up an external DVD directly to the rear monitors to make sure they still worked. Scott
