  1. Just tried it on my way home and it worked thanks. Never would have known about the double home button trick!!
  2. Just installed the appradio 2. I can't seem to listen to FM radio and use my apps at the same time. Why did they design it like this. Extremely annoying when I'm listening to news and trying to navigate.
  3. VBLUE can you update us on this once you get it. I would really like to know edit - Hi there VBLUE can i please change my Title of my thread from PLX Kiwi - is it worth it to PLX Kiwi or GoPoint BT1 worth it? just so others can easily pick it out
  4. thanks. im going to have to jailbreak and give the sticky a good read!
  5. questions - 1 - is there any issue with my iphone 4s being on ios 6? (i havent installed the appradio yet to try) 2 - if i do find an ipod touch wit ios 5.1.1 how would my GPS work if the maps isnt stored in apple maps and google maps? (just thought about that a minute ago) the only maps i know that has maps stored in the harddrive is tomtom. 3 - will tom tom and garmin work too?
  6. should i also update my appradio to 8.17? edit - also why would it be a problem if i have ios 6? i am currently on 6.0.1
  7. will appradio 2 give my ipod GPS? I just wanted to know so i can have my iphone in my pocket and use it for bluetooth calling only and use the ipod for appradio function. Will this work (If so, great, i'll have to buy an ipod)
  8. So I'd like to tech up my car this summer and I was thinking about buying the PLX kiwi with the dash command app. Now its kinda pricey and there isn't a huge fan base for this, so i wanted to ask a specific quesion. Can the dash command be used at the same time WITH radio or ipod music? this is obviously a make or break it deal. I really want to see all my engine parameters and fuel economy, it would just be better with music
  9. cydia is not the issue, my friends iPhone is not hacked and it too went blank too. It must be the appradio integration that is seriously f*ing it up
  10. Some people won't give up, I really don't like the idea of paying/waiting. Anways I hope this helps others!
  11. So i went and purchased the 8400 and i can't seem to figure how to get the bypass to work with the switch... I understand there is another discussion regarding a module but I want to use what I already have and its an unused switch. Now, theres that damn green wire that needs to be grounded to powered ground (does it HAVE to be powered ground? because chassis ground still goes to battery ground) do I wire that up to my switch and the other end of the switch to ground? OK THIS WORKS! Here is a wiring diagram for you guys who want to save a few bucks. have the switch open prior to start up
  12. i dont know why but, it only happens when i plug in my iphone via pioneer cable. this must be the cable at fault. i will try to call and see tomorrow because its starting to really piss me off
  13. hey guys, im getting conflicting information, will my current CD-IU51V cable work for the 8400 or do i have to buy the cd-iu201S? I looked at SonicElectronics and it says they sell the CD-IU51V cable as an accessory for the 8400.
