So I have been posting and learning on here for sometime, my unit was froozen for 6months on the splash screen. Fixed it w a 30$ update from eBay.. However now that I have used test mode and the wince screen I wanted to see what else the unit can do hack wise.. I understand this falls kind of under that title but have to see this first... I'm guessing when you want to change the start up picture you copy over the pioneer logo or delete it and add the picture file of your choice. In my case I never get the pioneer logo, is this a sign that my system had been hacked in the past possibly causing

Hey was your unit bricked and the upgrade worked? I'm stuck on the splash screen for 6months will do just about anything to get it fixed can't find the files anywhere

Please share if you find any help I have Been searching on here for 6 months w no help no files to fix just a lot of reading... Giving two more weeks then sending it to turbotunes and putting this pos for sale and will never buy pioneer or suggest it to any of my customers this system is terrible and there service is even worse not to mention the 1200 price tag

I will do anything for those files bro, I have been trying to find them for around 5months now just to attempt fix my frozen screen. I'll gladly give email if files work I'll paypal you money... And no u press everything all together hear a pop then release either the reset then the othe three(pretty sure) or vis verse the three buttons then the reset.. You will get a blue screen where u put the service code in and it will bring u to the service option.. I'm not just what it is I always just search it before trying... I can't do anything with out the wince files... And the back ups I beg u

hey im trying despritly hard to fix my f90 but cant find the files anyplace I need a back up the winceimg.bin and cks and testmode would you be so kind to other send me a pm and email the files or something or post where you found them every link I have tried is dead. I think i have a copy of testmode on a scan disk but my screen is frozen on the splash screen so i figured i would try the rebot fix bc can only access the service mode. Woud be super appriciate if you could hook it up going crazy

hey would any of you guys happen to have the files needed to do a complete system restore? i have a f90bt and its been frozen on the splash screen for like 4 months i have spent a lot of time reading and seems i need the backup files, winceimg.bin and another winceimg.... as well as testmode. I believe i found a copy of test mode but nothing happens when i put the card in.. I can get it into service mode though. can i use my old 2.0 update in service mode? do you think the 3.0 update would fix it if I am about to do it in service mode? will gladly pay for the files or whatever to fix it

just to edit i am able to access the service mode by holding the correct buttons and putting in the code but i do not have the winceimg files or the back up files. I do have the sd card with the 2.0 update on it if that helps?? please some one help i feel like I am making baby steps

hello I have been reading and posting on here for a while can someone please help My HU out of now where is frozen on the blue screen, i never get the pioneer logo, the map menu and eject all light up. cd's play in the background but no control over it, I downloaded testmode to a sdcard, inserted nothing happens. its on fat32 format should i try fat instead. wont even let me inter the service mode. i am at such a loss.... can someone please help me where can i find the winceimg.bin and winceimg.cks files i found testmode here but no clue what other files i need pretty sure

just tried the links again and none of them work... I have a f90bt thats been dead for about 4 months can someone please help... it is frozen on the blue splash screen when I put a CD in it plays but can not use any functions because the unit is stuck on the splash screen. I have spent days and hours reading and searching please help

still searching and still no luck maybe if I am a little more specific. when i power up the blue spash screen comes on and stays there is no sound. I tried the reset button and the same problem. reading on here I see people pushing the menu map eject reset let go of reset you can hear a little pop from the speakers and it goes to a plain blue screen that says to reset again(so i am guessing my unit isnt fired and I can hack into it with some help and reset it. I just do not no where to start as I have seen simialar black screen and reboot problems so I am just guessing to try that stuff. I
