  1. No one has any input on this? I'm about 2 days away from putting my fist through my avic, lol.
  2. Anyone else experienced this or have any insight?
  3. One of the main things I use my Z2 for is listening to audiobooks from Audible.com off my iPhone (via the iPod cable) while I drive. Normally, like on the iPhone, when I plug my phone in and pick the audiobook it picks up right where it left off. Sometimes however (about 20% of the time) it starts the book over from the beginning. As you can imagine, this is maddening as these are often 300-600 minute files and I generally don't have any clue where in that timeline my last listen ended. That means that I have to spend the next half hour (which is typically my whole drive) fast forwar
  4. I must be missing something here. I don't see any option for "pair from mobile device". I have bluetooth turned on in the main settings menu, where is the other option that I need to enable on the AVIC?
  5. Any ideas here? Been playing with this for a couple weeks now and still haven't been able to get it working.
  6. I just picked up a z120bt and cannot get it to connect to my iPhone 3GS. I've got the bluetooth turned on for the Avic, and in the device settings it is identified as "PIONEER NAVI". When I enable bluetooth on the iphone it finds PIONEER NAVI just fine, but when I attempt to connect to it it says "please make sure the device is turned on and enabled". It doesn't even get to the point where it asks me to enter the pairing code. I can connect to other bluetooth devices with the phone just fine.
  7. I'm looking to mount a female USB plug (and the little audio plug that's required for audio from video sources) behind my driver's seat so I can just plug my ipod cable or flash drive into the port whenever I need it. Of course, the standard 3ft cable on the back of the unit won't reach back that far. This looks like the USB extender I need. It's got poor reviews though so does anyone know if there's another brand that makes similar ones to that, that are mountable and whatnot? Also, are there versions of it that will fit the audio plug? The only thing I've been able to find is this
  8. Won't it require a new ipod cable that we'll have to run for it to work though?
  9. I'm having a little trouble finding how many USB outputs the Avic z120bt has. Basically, my goal is to be able to run separate cables for my iphone and flash drive. The iphone cable would be mounted near the shifter so it's easy for me to plug it in when I get in the car, and the USB drive would be mounted in a cubby where it could stay more permanently since I won't be removing that very often. So, is this possible? If so which cables do I need for it? I know I obviously need the ipod cable, but do I need a proprietary USB cable to or would I just use a regular USB cable?
