  5. Guess what mine finally went out after way more than 150 miles...I didn't forget to flip the switch so I have no idea what happened and my vss is not hooked up...I think I'm gonna try switching when its fully calibrated. Hope it works! Any ideas?
  6. ive been flipping the switch as soon as I turn on the car and it works fine From what Ive seen you do not need to be moving.
  7. luckily i had to drive from chicago to wisconsin yesterday and everything works fine! you do not need to reset and my status is on hybrid right now GPS is working fine this is truly a backdoor bypass
  8. Give all credit to Ducati Boy's source here http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6331 ***quick note***(You do not need to be moving to flip the switch, you can do it while stopped/parked) Lemme run this down for you guys. First you will need a toggle switch(any from radioshack will do) -Take the light green wire from the radio harness and connect it onto one side of the switch -Take a wire and connect it to the other side of the switch and the end of that wire into ground -Turn car on, go into NAV, Settings, Hardware, Installation Status. Flip the switch til you
  9. IT WORKS!!!! SO FAR SO GOOD... THANK YOU TO WHOEEVER FIGURED THIS OUT!
  10. i will deffinitely try this tonight but quick question first DB By E-brake switch does he mean he has it hooked up to the e-brake or just a switch emulating the e-brake. Like a toggle switch... And if it is a toggle switch..one end will obviously be the e-brake wire and the other will be what? 12v, ground, or acc? hope you reply soon so I can try this.
  11. the nd-bt1 is the only one that works
  12. So the Crutchfield rep told me to wait for the BTB200 instead of ordering the ND-BT1 is the only one that works. Since they messed up they are overnighting me the right one and still giving me the 15% off!
