  1. I don`t know about the player on Miopocket, but I think TCPMP could be one that can do the trick. TCPMP Player If it just could be integrated in to AVIC unit...
  2. In the meantime when we are trying to find solution for working GPS, I was wondering if it could be possible to use TCPMP player on AVIC units? I’ve seen on other units that there are icons added to Pioneer menu and a requested program can be launched there, (not necessary to boot up in Win CE). TCPMP player could be useful for playing video files. As we know, basically stock AVIC units don’t play any kind of video files from SD card or USB.
  3. Has anyone found a solution to delete/disable speed cams (black spots) on AVIC F20BT unit? I downloaded speed cams from Pioneer support site, it was 1 year free subscription. Those speed cams are really outdated and I deleted them. Or at least I thought I did. Speed cam icons disappeared on screen but they still give me that irritating audible warning when approaching a camera. I also turned them off in settings menu, but still I can hear the warning through speakers. I install them again from SD card and turn off/delete, but the warning sound just keeps irritating me!
  4. Thanks for feedback with v.0.2! Try with iGO and other stuff, more of us the more chance to get gps working! br condi Hmm... Too bad. I didn`t manage to instal Igo8. Installation starts but after 2 sec. it stops. Maybe wrong version ( 8.3.4.117940 (Nov 3 2009) Which version are you using, guys? Wikke
  5. Thanks guys for all 'good luck' words If you have any questions then just ask. HACKMODE was checked only on my device, so please be careful in any actions, Please check if it works with F10/F20 and other models! I just tried your Hackmode 0.2 on AVIC-F20BT device, it works perfect!! Later today I will give a try to run IGO8 navigation with this unit. Expectations are high...
  6. Yes!!! Finally some good news! I was already about to sell this whole piece of crap, F20BT unit. I wish you a good luck to go in to the windows and hopefully we can see the whole radio running with completely different software. Especially navigator...
  7. In Europe fog lights can be switched on only in the dark and misty, foggy weather conditions. I asked from VW service for upgrading the lights (daytime running lights) but the price is terrible. I should change the car to get Pioneer radio working correctly... At the moment I am building an automatic day/night switch. It will measure the lighting conditions and give the signal to Pioneer via orange/white illumination cable.
  8. I just registered my device, AVIC-F20BT. I received 1-year free subscription for speedcams. Works OK, but no sound!! It only shows the speedcams on screen but no any audible warning. Has anyone any solution for this? Some separate program to run background perhaps which is giving audible warnings...?
  9. My car, 2009 model Passat doesn`t have "day time running lights". It only has normal headlights that are switched on automatically when it gets dark. Radio harness (CAN interface) is connected to the same circuit. Radio illumination is behaving the same way, bright screen in the day time and dark screen in the night time. When the car`S headlights must be switched on on the day time as well, Pioneer illumination is dark in the day time. You said you have Daytime running lights? Interesting! Maybe I can update my headlights as well and have it all working. How are the lights working in your VW
  10. Has anyone found a solution for Day/Night illumination problem in the most European countries? Headlights must be switched on days and nights. How to tell AVIC-F20BT unit that brighten the screen automatically in daytime and dim it in the dark if the car headlights must be always switched on? My car is VW Passat 2009 and I am using Connects2 CAN Stalk interface CTSVW002. When the car lights are in AUTO position, lights are controlled automatically (on/off) and Pioneer unit also change its brightness according to the signal from the CAN interface. But nowadays the lights must be on on the dayt
