Interface is faster, pandora is built into the dock and no longer under apps. Settings is accessed by swiping right. I'll try and upload a video. I can also try to upload the firmware tomorrow if I have a chance. Install wise, back to the standard one harness that piOneer used in the past, back to the 2.5 mic, back to the standard pioneer gps antenna jack. Bypass works with a switch still. The screen is much better! That is the biggest compliment I have. Deck feels much more solid. The new firm ware will also trigger your phone to ask if you want to start the app when hitting the app button or

My app radio 2 arrived today! I'll be installing it tonight hopefully. Unfortunately pioneer changed the harnesses back to the old pioneer harness , also a new iPhone cable. Looks like I can't use the app radio 1 harness :/ oh well

Has there been a working bypass besides a switch yet? has the tr7 been confirmed to work, cause I know some people have had issues. I'm picking up my radio to replace my d3 this weekend and would love to know. Thanks!

Still availible, But its on backorder @ pioneer, So it will take longer to receive , If you download the updated accomadation form it will show a price adjustment and it will say backordered. Unless its been updated again since last week. And I work at BBY also

The BB instock date is 4/15 -Guys that work there, all you have to do is click additional detail. Its not availible customer fufillment. And the pionner deal rasied their price and its on back order its now just under 640. Also installers dont get $100 of the install, they are hourly just like everyone else. I'm waiting for them to get instock, cause the employee price is not bad at all (and we do get emp pricing, the unit is not price locked.)

D3 also has a function where you can store the route your currently on into internal memory, and then take out the disk and the nav will still voice direct you over your dvd movie, or cd your playing...
