  1. That was it. I had the remote hooked up to the antenna. Rookie mistake. Thanks for the help guys. Bryan
  2. What is a Canbus? What does it do? Sorry. I've been out of aftermarket for a while and just now getting back into it. I don't remember what they are or what function they perform. Bryan
  3. If the IPOD module is slow I see no reason for getting one. Especially if I can't watch video with the module. Is there no reason the subwoofer wouldn't work? I was hoping it was just something I didn't know to look for due to lack of experience with this type of unit. Thanks Bryan
  4. Thanks. For clarification: 1. The white/Lt. green wire on drver fender is under the fuse box right? 2. I noticed a (SRT-10 only) for the Vss. Does that mean the 5.7 (non-SRT) doesn't have one? Bryan
  5. Hi guys, I posted this on a previous topic but am new to the forum and not sure if anyone saw it. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab with the 5.7L Hemi. I need the location of the Vss wire and also the reverse. Thanks in advance. On a side note, does anyone know where I can get the bluetooth and XM tuner cheap? Bryan
  6. Hi guys. I recently installed a Z1 and hooked up an ipod using the AV source on the back of the unit (not the ipod interface). I noticed recently that the subwoofers don't work! I didn't think there was a seperate eq setting for this av source, is there? Any help is appreciated Bryan
  7. Hi Guys, Just purchased a Z1 and have been reading all the forum info. There is a lot of helpful info here. I was wondering if the VSS and reverse wire colors are the same on the 2006 Ram 1500 w/ 5.7L V8. I called a local dealership and they said it was Dk Blue and orange for the VSS but didn't give me any info on the reverse. Thanks in advance.
