sometime harnesses have 2 blue wires - 1 for power antenna and 1 for remote wire, make sure you have the right wire connected from your Head Unit to the Amp

probably tore the flex ribbon cable when you took it apart...are you still getting time/track info from the top display?

are you talking about the RCA's or the power/speaker wires plug?

lol it is SO easy to do i had the thing apart...soldered a wire and put the thing back together in like 30 minutes....ill do it for 50 if you want

nvm i found...not sure why its not stickied but i completed the bypass successfully!! it wasn't nearly as hard as everyone was making it sound took me maybe 30min....my next mod will be changing the colors of the leds for the buttons...im thinking red or purple ...if anyone wants the mod done to their avic-n1s i will be more than happy to do it

just like the title states ive searched and searched w/ no luck...and i think the mods should start deleting some of these double and triple posts

gears probably went bad....thats funny cause it happened to mine this week too....ive pulled it out and pushed it up and set it to manual close flap it seems to retract fine just not open....see if you can just pull it out and leave it up

what program are you using to burn the discs? have you tried searching the forum any? theres tons of info on how to burn these sucessfully

are you trying to calculate routes while going to the hiway?

i think the new design is ugly its time for me to upgrade though i might be switching to alpine im dissappointed

finally i got it to work i unrared it again that must have been the problem the first file was corrupt but works now thanks to everyone for trying to help
