  1. No. The GEX has the older square type connector, the SXV200 has a round connector.
  2. I don't have the parking assistant guide enabled. This is odd, what the heck is causing mine to take forever to light up and boot? I may have to make a YouTube video and post it so you guys don't think I'm BS'ing.
  3. You should probably ask for help on the XDA Developers forum where Area51 can help. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451980
  4. Ok, after a closer look it isn't the reverse camera that is slow, its the deck itself that is slow to power up. When I start my car, it takes about 10 seconds for the front panel buttons on the deck to illuminate, after which I see the Pioneer logo and my reverse cam shows up a few seconds later. I have a Sirius XM tuner and a PAC steering wheel remote adaptor attached to the head unit. I wonder if these add ons could be slowing down the boot?
  5. Sigh..... I wonder why mine is sluggish. I put my car into reverse immediately after starting.
  6. Anyone else find that the AVIC-8000NEX takes too long to display the rear view camera when it is powered up? I count a good 15 seconds after I start my car before I see the camera show up on the display. This is too slow, my old Z120BT was faster.
  7. Nope. I emailed Pioneer directly about this exact issue a few weeks ago, they stated that the HD Tuner in the Z150BH isn't capable of picking up the RDS info on Analog. Of course, they added this functionality on the NEX head units which have a new version of the HD Tuner. Bastards.

Incorrect Info. The unit does in fact have (3) 4V Pre Outs. I didn't notice that the subwoofer one is in the head unit itself, below the back up camera input. I assumed it was on of the ones on the short 4" leads.
  9. Is this a one time procedure or does it have to be done every time the head unit is powered up?

    AVIC-8000NEX

Can you elaborate on this recall, diablo2112? I contacted my local Pioneer Rep and he has not heard of any NEX recalls. Its hard to believe that Pioneer screwed something up so badly that it cant be resolved by an end-user firmware update.

    AVIC-8000NEX

Has anyone been able to confirm yet what type of bypass is required for the AVIC-8000NEX? The Z150BH needed a pin added to the RCA harness which got ground along with the parking brake wire.
  12. Does anyone know if it is possible to change the Voice and/or Speed of the guidance? I just upgraded to the new 2012 maps and the ladies voice for guidance is both annoying and way too slow.
  13. Get the one for your actual head unit. See my previous post explaining.
  14. For anyone upgrading, I can offer the following advice which I learned the hard way. When selecting your device on the Navteq website, make sure you choose your actual head unit model number, regardless if you have upgraded via firmware in the past. I have a Z120BT and I stupidly chose Z130BT as my model number, thinking I should since I upgraded my Z120BT to a Z130BT last year with the CNSD-210FM update. So, I got the Z130BT upgrade SD Card and it said it was the incorrect media for my device. I had to sent it back to Navteq and order the Z120BT update which worked fine.
  15. I figured this out myself. Turns out the SD Card was bad which caused the face not to close the first time. I was finally able to open the face by pushing the eject button, and pulling HARD on the front hardware button lip edge to FORCE the face to pop out and eventually push it down. After I did this, I ejected the SD card and when I pressed the front hardware close button, the face closed up normally. Pressing eject again, it opened up normally, so gladly there was no damage to the motor. I later found out the SD Card was the culprit, as when I plugged it into my home computer, the driv
