Hi, I have been searching and cannot get a strait answer...I have a Z1 right now and I want to make it to a Z2. As most of us konw, you can purchase those hard drives with maps and stuff on ebay but besides the price! what is the differnce between those hard drives and the CNDV-700HD Disks? They both change your Z1 to a Z2 right? Both the Update disk AND hard drive are going to update roads, POI, bluetooth and add two 3D icons right? Hey, I just finished installing the Z2 and The map is off, its not facing the way it should be. (ie. Faces North when IM facing West) I cant even put in an address...Its blanked out so i cant even click on it but I can click on things like "Go To" and "POI" I WOLULD just restore the settings but thats blanked out too... I tried reset but nothing happened...

Hey, Since it does not play Audio DVDs, I have a bunch of songs that need to get onto the hard drive. I have read that you cannot record MP3s, so what formats DOES it take? and whats the fastest way to get it onto the had drive?

Hey, I had the avic-D3 and now I just switched to the Z2. With my D3, i was able to play MP3s that were recorded on a DVD. When I tried to put that dvd in the Z2, it said "Unreadable Disk Error" Does the Z2 not play MP3 DVDs?

Hi, I bought my avic-D3 from bestbuy and I was just curious how many people get the extended warrenty, not just for the D3, but just avic in general. is it really worth the extra money? what are the odds of these things going wrong? i know the D3 has no tilt so the odds of problems is less likley. what do you guys think?

Hi, just wondering...I dont know if it is supposed to be like this or not but...i connected the vss wire today and when I check my dynamics, it does not seem to be the same as my gauges. BEFORE i hooked up the vss, the dynamic would be off by about 7, 8, km/h. AFTER i hooked it up, im still off bit its closer... its off by 3, 4 km/h. the weird thing is after i finished work and driving home, it was actually fine! it was on the dot. then i switch it to map view, switch it back to dynamic and its off by a couple km/h again. another thing is when i come to a complete stop, it takes maybe a second

ahhh the mute wire!!! where is that supposed to be connected to? im sorry im a n00b. is the mute wire supposed to be grounded with the park break?

Hey, just wanted to get some help. I just installed the avic-D3, looks great! i wired the park break to the aftermarket harness ground but for some reason everything i turn the car on and the deck comes on, it gives me a caution telling me my park break was not wired properly. can anyone help me out? thanks

Hey, i just bought the avic-d3 and i am trying to install it. I have had an aftermarket deck before. when i install the avic i basiclly just wired everything up where everything use to be. all the colors match and everything but when i turn the car on, the deck wont come on. there is no power to it.
