Nobody knows the answer to this? Is it possible to use tomtom instead? (Load tomtom onto my unit? F930BT/X930BT? Or should i buy the update firmware? Which unlocks the features of a F940BT/X940BT? (Basically so i get app mode and can use my tom tom app on my iphone) Is this a good idea? Or is there a simple fix which i have missed? Let me know Thanks

Hello, I recently purchased the AVIC - F930BT UK Model. I have bypassed the system and the bypass has worked 100% All functions work during driving, and Ebrake off. However after testing the sat nav on 1hour long journeys, I discovered that the system likes to take me through countryside roads/lanes (Really narrow roads) 1. I have set my sat nav to DO NOT AVOID MOTORWAY 2. Set option to take main roads So howcome this sat nav still takes me through these small roads? I have a seat leon FR and it does not like tight narrow roads which are very bumpy!!!! Driving these types of

Hello everyone, So i fitted my headunit sucessfully, music plays, radio works, and i can skip,mute tracks etc. Problem: The problem is that i think the headunit doesnt recognise the car hand break? I think this because even with parking break on, i cannot enter any address for the sat nav to work, also same goes to phonebook/phone settings. All options are there but greyed out so i cannot select the options. When i press map, i see a map with current location, i just cannot insert a address to start the navigation function. As mentioned previously above, i cannot connect my phon

no i didnt manage to fix my headunit.... i had to send it off to pioneer for £150 =[ oh well its all fixed and working now =] glad i now have music in kmy car haha

Hello everyone, First of all this forum is awesome and im glad i found it online. The problem i have is: I have had my headunit for about 2 years now, installed by a proffesional. Everything was working fine UNTIL i did a FIRMWARE UPDATE as pioneer had notified me through email. So i ran the update thinking it would work straight away with no problems as i followed the instructions from pioneer. HOWEVER i now get a problem where the system starts up as normal except a get a message "system start up in progress please wait" This message does not go away and after a few minutes
