Ok heres what I have found. The D3 and the iPhone will work but VERY limited. You can play music on the D3 with the iPhone but there is no way to get the video output to work. Also the D3 will not charge the iPhone. I don't have a bluetooth connection for the D3 so I cant check the phone connection but I would assume it should work as it is just bluetooth. My hopes are they will give us a new DVD with an update for the D3 so it will better support the iPhone. I tried a few work arounds to get the charging to work but none of them seam to actualy charge the iPhone.

Yes music does word with the D3. I'll write up full details later today.

Personaly I would like to see a no cell phone while driving law. Forget hands free If your busted with a cell phone its a huge fine and a moving violation. Thats right you get points on your record over it. Then toss in some major enforcment and lets see how many yuppies end up on the bus. HEH thats right yuppie park the BMW and walk to work.

Get yourself a Ipod video and try it. You will not be let down. The only issues I have had is some of my music videos would not play on the ipod so I had to go to doom9 and get the tools to convert my videos to MP4. I now have about 5 gigs of music vidoes and another 3 gig of MP3's on my ipod. Ps I have a 30 gig ipod video and its going to be rough filling it.

I got a 30 gig ipod video for my D3. Already loaded up 2.5 gigs of music on it. Just need to convert my videos to use them on the ipod. I played with it in my car and I'm very happy
