does anyone know how to create the pim on a mac

so i put the iso of the nav dvd on my computer. loaded the iso, and took out all of the files from the iso and put them in a new folder on the desktop. From here i deleted all the files that started with poi in the idx folder. after that i inserted the mustang.pim into the correct folder. i used nero to create a data dvd on a SL DVD. When i went to go put in the dvd, it said please insert appropriate disc. anyone know what i could have done wrong? any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

when I deleted all the poi files, i then burnt the dvd in nero as a data dvd and no luck, anyone know what to do
