  1. Whats going on guys, been a while since ive been on here since i got my F90BT. im going to be selling my car and getting something different and now going to have 2 cars that are only single din capable. without some crazy fabrication that is. anyway im looking at the MVH models to toss into my new car mainly for the quality of the audio and ipod controls. looking to see if anyone here has one and how the feel about it. so far i think ima be pretty happy with it. going to miss the Nav setup but ill just get a portable GPS again
  2. Check your ground. i had this same issue. for some reason my ground just wasnt holding up very well at times. i had to sand down part of the frame to expose bare metal where my subs amp was grounded. Not sure why the headunit changes anything but i had the same issue... relocated ground on the amp and the problem was solved.
  3. Works like a charm, just tried it out on my F90BT. Thanks alot. like i said earlier only drawback is, i could not fit the maps with all the POI's, and Buidlings. i loaded all the maps + Buildings and about a 1/4 of the POI's. Not too bad tho for free, cant complain. Thanks again
  4. These maps will work the same on my F90BT as long as i get the hacked version of EZrider with license? still learning this unit, ive only done a software bypass on the speed limit for gps/vid/settings. reading into the Hacked EZrider now just started loading the maps etc to avic and i think ima have to get rid of some of the poi. cant fit everything onto it =\ so just gonna load the POI for the areas i will most likely travel and leave out the places ill probably never visit, worst case scenario google address via cell and input into gps. wish there was more flashdrive space
  5. after a few days of playing around and reading up in here i finally solved the issue, i got an actual SD card instead of using a micro SD in an SD card adapter and it worked? i dont know, i have some music on that micro sd and the avic media player recognizes it just fine. Anyway finally got into it and changed the software speed limit like i wanted to. Thanks for the response tho bud =)
  6. I got my AVIC a few weeks ago off someone already containing 3.02 ...im trying to do a software bypass and tweak someother things. however i have been searching for a couple hours and cant seem to boot into WinCE, ive put testmode and Mitacap on SD card but the unit is not booting from the SD card, its just loading to the menu on the AVIC. read some stuff bringing me into service mode but it seemed like it was to erase the the flash drive and reload the original 3.0 unoffical update, not completely sure what to do here. not trying to do anything too major other than little things so all i need
  7. thanks bud, i was actually looking at the second one you sent. seems pretty legit. If i dont like it, its possible to revert back to the OEM software/firmware?
  8. no one? not a bit of guidance?
  9. How you guys doing? Just recently bought my F90BT off someone and waiting for it to be delivered in the mail. it doesnt have any software mods. I have been reading thru the forums for a few hours now and just not quite sure exactly where i need to begin. I am trying to have everything prep'd so when the unit arrives i can just get it done in one shot. so now for the questions Does the unit need to be "unlocked" to prepare for modifications? I am merely interested in modding the GPS software. was reading the thread about software with the iGo8. (http://avic411.com/index.php?sho
