Also as jman0711 said check that but also make sure you placed the hacked files into the correct folders. It will say it updated, then might say it failed or completed but leave 2.0003 and not 2.0004.

Yeah its already updated.... I feel really stupid now. I can build a computer, put an intercooler in but I couldn't figure out how to find out the software already was up-to-date. *facepalm*

Thanks for the info. I ended up ordering a sd card from pioneer, it still won't update. It makes me think something is wrong.

It wasn't about the blue tooth, I should have said something but she was only a parts person. I had orderd the firmware update sd card since the whole unit seems to be a failure

To add salt to the wound. Pioneer called me today while I was on my way to work. i answered with the bluetooth and she kept saying "hello, are you there?" I had to switch to the phone itself since she couldn't hear me.

Just to give an update Formatted the card. It's a 1gb micro sd in a SD card adapter. What i've tried. AVIZ110 folder in the main root of the SD card, no other files AVICZ110 files from the folder in the SD card root AVICZ110.ZIP in the root of the SD Card Named the SD card AVICZ110 None of these worked. This is really starting to piss me off.

That's disappointing. I got the unit installed yesterday, called my dad on the way home and he couldn't understand a word I was saying.

Downloaded mine, put it on the root of the sd card like they said, played mp3s. What does the directory tree look like for y'all? edit: renamed the folder from 110 to 120 and also placed the files outside the folder into the root, neither worked. I think this update is bs. Honestly starting to think I made a mistake with this unit.

Update: Ordered it anyway. Used the pac c2r-audi and the CONNECTS2 CT27AA56 Radio works great, blue tooth sucks balls, nobody can hear me, it's about 2 feet in front of me slightly to the right. I have lost the sub and most of the power to my rear speakers due to the harness not taking advantage of the factory amp. I have a feeling I need to take A) the pre-amps out of the deck to the harness for the rears take the wire leads from the avic wiring harness (Not the mmi harness) and splice it to some rca and run it to the pre-amps on the PAC harness.
