looks like previous owner tried the mod and completely ripped out the mute wire. COOL now what

Is there a way to bypass it using the wiring harness and not the RCA cable? I dont have any need for the RCAs so I dont even have them connected. I thought I could just connect the parking brake wire to the ground and it would would but it says the parking brake wire isnt connected correctly.
