  1. According to page 4 of the manual, there is a pinhole reset button on the front. No idea if it'll fix your issue, but the manually basically says: Pressing the reset button resets settings and recorded contents to the factory settings. Do not perform this when a device is connected. Some of the settings and recorded contents will not be reset. Steps: Turn off ignition. Preset the reset button with a pen tip or similar (bottom right of unit)
  2. Hey folks, I just picked up an 8200NEX to be installed by the local shop later this week, but I have some questions so that I can be prepared going in. I understand the unit comes with a single USB extension cable. Presumably this will connect to the USB1 input on the back for Apple CarPlay. Questions: Assuming I have no intention of connecting an android phone, can I still make use of the second USB input? What benefit might this serve me? E.g., could I use this to charge a second device? What happens if I have two devices connected at the same time (say an iPhone to USB1 and an
  3. Hey Folks, I picked up a Z120 a short while back and installed it in my 2005 300C. After a bunch of fiddling by the shop, pretty well everything is worknig, except the 3D view seems a little lame compared to what was advertised. The 3D view looks a little different, but I've never seen anything resembling a 3D landmark in Edmonton or Calgary, AB, Canada. Should I? In addition, inside the sensor learning area, everything is learning, except the 3D. Distance, left and right turns are learning, but not 3D and this is after months of driving. Am I missing something or....? Than
  4. my shop screwed up. After two tries they called their support to find out my car requires a special wire to be connected somewhere. Once they fixed that it's working like a charm. I assume your car is the same given they're basically the same vehicle but I dunno what the wire was.
  5. Hey Guys, Just got my Z120BT installed into a 2005 Chrysler 300c otherwise stock sound system. Everything works, the phone paired up easily, I can play audio over bluetooth, however, when I try to call someone using hands free I can't hear the dialing or them through my speakers. I don't hear anything. They can hear me alright, but thats all. I've poked through the settings and the manual, and I can't find anything. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing? The fact that I can stream audio over bluetooth says that they're working to some effect, but not fully. I've played with the v
  6. Hey folks, Getting a pioneer avic z120b installed soon and I know extended warranty will be an option. Is it worth it? Do in-dash nav systems commonly have issues? Or is it simply 6 of one, half a dozen of the other? Ive never really had issues with any headunits but very few cost over $1k. I did however just make use if the extended warranty on my iPhone so I know they can be useful. $100 for 3 years $130 for 4 years Warranty would be through Visions (www.visions.ca) Thanks!
