Cool thank you again. I will try to burn a cd on there and hope everything goes well. Now if I had done this reset would it have reset my Sirius Satt. Radio as far as me having to call them to activate it again? I still have not activated it since I put it in this veh. and was wondering if this reset is done if thats something that would have to be called back in. thank you guys for all the great help. Looks like the level 4 reset has done the job. I was reading thru the manual and it said more then likely a bad recording into the HD. And maybe you guys can answer this i had a cd in and it was not fully recorded and i shut the veh. off then it started recording again and i shut the car off again before it finished could this have given a corrupt file somewhere? Just wondering nothing important. Thank you

Ok thank you for the quick reply. I searched the forum downloaded the manual and the forum said page 175 for directions on level 4 reset and I cannot find it. Any directions on how to do that or where i can find it in the manual?

Does anyone still have a link to the firmware update that is not dead? The pioneer site no longer shows that update. 404 error

I have been reading thru the forums and everyone states that this is more then likely the HD going bad. But I also read some of the posts that they replaced the HD and still moved slow. Hoping someone can help. Is the motherboard famous for failing on these? I have had this radio for a while and just moved from one veh. to another and this is the 1st time i have had this problem. All the options are slow reacting and slow delay with everything. Ok I will try that this weekend. More then likely I will run the wire up the adverse a-pillar where I run my satt. radio and mount it to the roof. Thanks again for all your help. Hopefully this works.

I checked that once I do the 3d reset if has 3-4 bars (and originally it was installed professionally on my other veh. they left it right on top of the radio inside the dash) after the little button reset it does not show any. And on the bottom of that 3d reset is it suppose to keep saying system initializing or something of that sort or sensor initializing all the time? Should i move the antenna outside of the veh. like on the roof? I was just afraid its not weather proof. Thanks for all your help your help!!!!

Ok I went to use my car today and after doing the 3d calibration now it will not let me delete tracks while iam in motion but it states that the hand brake is on. So I was reading around on the forums and said to do a reset before moving. I did that and then i can delete tracks again but the gps goes wacko again. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Thank you for your reply But how can that be done? Is it somewhere on the menu? I unplugged the radio and also the gps antena started it back up and hit that reset button up front and that didnt work.

Just moved my Z2 from one veh. to another and now im having issues with the gps being stuck. Does anyone have any ideas? I checked the antenna connection and unpluged and repluged it in and still not luck. Any help would be appriciated.
