Ok it works!!!!, he told me to disconnect the battery off the car for at least an hour, I did so, then when i re connected the system booted up as normal, it restored the factory settings as my back lighting changed from the red I had set it too to factory set blue, also all my radio stations were erased but, hey 2 weeks now and no problems at all

Mine has gone the say way today and Im in the UK, the Menu etc lights turn on for 5 secs then all dead,,,,sent an e-mail to the guy who fitted it for me, hes a genuis hopefully he will sort it for me, thanks
