  1. update: have found what can be described as a cresent shape cut out where I can see the white gear and two holes in the gear so my assumption is that a screwdriver in one of those holes and moving in the right direction will release the screen?

Hi ​Found this thread as have an issue where my screen wont open (AVIC-HD1BT) I have read above ref the manual release method :"alternatively you can use the manual method and move the gear with a small screwdriver via the underside of the unit shown here:[attachment=5]IMG00046-20090419-2038.jpg[/attachment]" ​Can anyone let me know where this gear and access point is please as the photo doesn't open.

  6. Hi all, new joiner here so not sure if this is the correct section to post my problems. I have had my HD1BT for a while and love it, I recently went through the manual again and had forgotten it was possible to hook up a rear view camera. Luckily santa dropped one off at my house for xmas, upon removing the head unit I realised I dont have the leads anymore! gutted. Anyone know where I might get one from? Its the RCA connector 2 in the manual. Also whilst I am here, over the last few months the unit has on occasion become unresponsive in terms of buttons or screen not working. The traf
