Is there a way to get HD Radio without the GEX-P20HD?

I turned my car on and this happens. Nothing out of the ordinary. No updates, it's cold, but not below operational temperatures. Worked perfectly normal, and just stopped. Sent to pioneer (8 days old) to repair. Will update then.

I'm getting a white screen and then it's turns off. Has anyone experienced this yet?

Hi, I have an avic-5000nex. When I hook up my iPod classic to the USB (1 or 2), it cuts bluetooth off. Phone is a galaxy s4. How can I make these coexist? I'd prefer my Bluetooth stayed connected and my iPod worked as an iPod. I bought the pioneer iPod cable and all.

I would use a multimeter to check power and ground. Also make sure all pins in harness are seated properly before sending off.

What type of truck?

The problem was not in the install, but in the phone. With the galaxy s4 I had to pair the units and then refresh the call audio setting in the device settings on the phone. All is good.

Are the Chrysler and Mazda premium systems alike? Just curious. I'll try it when the car is in front of me again.

I have done the initial connection. Then I deleted both from phone and nex(clear BT memory). Cycled power on both. Tried pairing from phone. Repeated same steps pairing from receiver. I then used the arrow refresh in connections list. I then tried to download "bluetooth auto connect" and repeated all steps above again. Is this what you are referring to vblue42? Did I misunderstand a previous post? Sometimes I think I'm doing what someone has explained, but I'm not actually doing it.

Yes, I tried cranking the volume and checked the mic level as well. No luck.

Guys, I have a 2007 miata with bose and installed the avic-5000nex. I used the harness adapter and dash kit per metra site. The install went well, no issues. the balance, fade and all is working properly and the microphone accepts voice commands. The bluetooth for phone calls is not working properly, and there is no audio for phone calls. No ringing, coming or going audio. It works for BT audio, so the A2DP portion is working. My phone is a galaxy s4. I believe I went through the manual, but i cannot find any special settings that may be wrong. smartphone setup is other and wireless/BT. It

Ok I am kind of stuck. I do not have a tower pc and the service disc will not work anymore. The radio just continues in that update cycle. My original hard drive is locked. What I managed is to put my image onto another 30GB toshiba drive through acronis. It is only temporary though. What I was wondering is how much would it cost me to send the original drive to you to fix it up? I need the update mainly for the f/w update to fix the freezing issue. After several attempts it will not fully load and I am stuck. I could try to load the updates on the new drive but do not fully trust the process
