I am using a mhl to HDMI adapter from Fry's Electronics. I don't know the manufacturer.

I have the HTC One M8 with the 4000NEX and they work great together. I use the MHL/HDMI connection and I have my phone rooted using AppRadio Unchained Reloaded. It connects everytime without a problem and sounds awesome.

I need to go back and hook that wire up. I didn't realize that was the mute wire and now when I use the Bluetooth in my car (which is so much better than the NEX) it shuts the stereo off. It comes back on when I hang up the phone but it won't reconnect to the phone correctly. Now I know.

I don't think satellite radio or hd radio work while your in app mode. I haven't done it in awhile but from what I remember they don't work simultaneously.

Yeah, that's what made me choose the Metra. I just hope idatalink gets on the ball and makes it compatible with our cars. Then it will be perfect.

I have this unit installed in my 2014 Camaro. I love it and can't wait for carplay. Which dash kit did you use? I have the metra kit but I am kinda digging the scosche kit with the touch screen climate controls.

Pioneer has a new video of the AVH-P8400BH on thier website. In the AppRadio (Advanced App Mode) segment, the recommeded apps icon has 15 in the red circle. It also shows things like Whodoo being used.

Thanks for the reply. It works. Now I have to figure out the video override so it works while I'm driving. Right now it only works with the e-brake engaged as if it were a video app. As soon as I take the e-brake off the screen displays the no video while driving message.

I tried using display out from cydia with Navigon and it still wouldn't display centered on the screen no matter what settings I used as far as stretching the image. How did yo get it to work?

I use it mostly for Rdio and Pandora myself. I don't buy CD's anymore. The INRIX traffic is awesome if you know where you are going but just want traffic info. I really like this head unit. I have it hooked up to a Crunch Audio amp and it sounds great.

I love mine. I got it the day it came out and haven't had an issue with it yet. Everything works great. I just wish Navigon or CoPilot live had compatible apps. I already emailed them and requested it. We'll see what other developers jump onboard as time progresses.

How are going install a D3 in a 1974 260Z? It only has a single din opening. If you get it installed please post pics as I have been trying to figure out how to get a navi system in my '74 Z also.

I got my Pioneer DEH-9800BT HU from them back in July. They were selling them on ebay. I got the unit in 2 days from them. They are in my opinion a pretty up front company.
