I'm the owner that he was talking about. Today I put the disc in and made sure that it was in MAP mode and I got the same results and my wife did yesterday. When doing this yesterday (said by wife), after she put the CD in, it would just say "CD-ROM Inserted". And it would stay like that until she turned off the HU. She did not know about putting it in "MAP" mode yesterday. So I tried this once I got home today and made sure that it was in "MAP" mode and I would get the same results. But this time it would say "CD-ROM Inserted" for about 3 seconds and it would not appear again.

I've seen the Black Trailblazer SS. Could someone do a Blue Trailblazer SS? I have the Z1

Could someone do a couple backgrounds for a Trailblazer SS? My editing and photoshopping skills suck. lol. Thanks in advance. :D

You want 12V when the lights are on and 0v when they are off. I figured that worse comes to worse, you can tap off the tail light bulbs. Most poeple know where they are :) But there is a wire in your car behind the dash somewhere which would work, but I don't know where it is. Cool! Thanks alot guys. I'll make sure I'll relay this to my installer. I would LOVE to do this myself. But I just have this luck I'll screw it up. And with me just getting the truck (wednesday), I dont wanna mess with those wires. But basically the best way is to hook it up on the taillights?

I just got another Z1 installed in my 06 Trailblazer SS and when I turn on my headlights the nav wont dim. Could this be becuz I have daytime running lamps? I also dont have any chime. Could anyone help me with this?

Finally able to get one from Crutchfield. Hope to get it in the next couple days.
