  1. I use the older CD-R5 that I had with my older Pioneer deck, works perfect and so does my remote from my DEX-P9... So pretty much any Pioneer remote, just choose the one that controls the functions you need access to.
  2. ^ Indeed, had to use that the first time. If you don't start the engine with the airbag light disconnected, it won't happen in the first place; just turn it to ACC to test the system and avoid starting the engine to keep from having to reset the light next time.
  3. Nice, that means something is causing probs with my antenna back there.
  4. Cool, I had to enlarge my bracket holes just to get it to seat correctly the first time. By the way, how is your FM reception with the D3 installed? My stock BOSE deck received around 13 FM stations in my area, now I get 1. I double checked the ant and it's plugged in securely to the deck, I'm guessing it's because I put my GPS antenna on the rear deck and since the FM antenna is embedded into the rear window that the GPS is causing interference... I dunno, the service manual for the altima shows the OEM gps antenna going under the rear deck also so who knows.
  5. ssrecords: Yeah, I have exactly the same problem. I normally prefer knobs for volume control rather than buttons, but in our case, buttons would have been nice since the knob is difficult to use with our kit; at least the steering wheel buttons work okay I guess.
  6. Finally grabbed a few pics of the D3 in my '05 Altima SE-R, thought you guys might be interested to see the factory color integration power of the D3 (orange and red to match the SE-R's factory orange/red lighting): More photos at: http://www.hybridamp.net/photo/main.php?g2_itemId=317 Overall, the D3 isn't a bad deck at all. Also, I just used a Peripheral wired steering wheel interface, super easy and works great.
  7. holy resize! lol Nice install, I think I use the same mounting kit for my D3 in my '05 altima, the Metra kit? I put my antenna on the rear deck though.
  8. Isn't it referring to manual naming of the station?
  9. Is that happening with everyone? Does the D3 really have two disclaimer screens or is there a setting to exit "Demo" mode?
  10. roflmao I think the guy above summed up my response well also.
