  1. My Z2 with Z3 image will not retain XM stations after the car is shut off. I ordered the "best of Sirius" and the stations won't stay. They will work if XM resends the signal then it's lost after I shut off the car. Also, the logo's for the XM won't stay either. Is this a problem with the XM or could there be a problem with the Z2 hard drive? Thanks in advance. Jeff
  2. my treo 700wx continously disconnects a few minutes into a phone call, you then have to turn off the bluetooth on the phone then back on, then try the call again. You get 1-2 minutes max again before the link disconnects again. Any known solutions or updates?
  3. My software is bypassed and I just have the parking brake switch on right now and haven't grounded pin #2...I have all functions even after hundreds of miles....I think it's just time before I get the PB error message...lol
  4. Through Windows Vista 64. Should that make a difference?
  5. you got $$ and pm. Transaction ID: 5ML35635807934713 Cheers.
  6. So far I've had no success in the ability to image the drive and expand the music partition another 10GB using Acronis True Home 10.0 on a 40gb HDD. Any other suggestions? The unit reads the HD is unreadable on boot. Thanks in advance for those who have had success. Also, I've partitioned the drive with Acronis, erased all files on HD and recopied them from my image and that failed. My guess is that it's Acronis.
  7. I see someone mentioned that their Z1/Z2 unit "sticks" at the splash screen. Mine does this too. Usually, it's after you hit the reset. It seems if you set all your hardware up correctly like camera, ipod, bluetooth, rear video etc. and allow the unit to callibrate...eventually it stops hanging at least for now. Do you think I should try and return the unit now or wait to see if the problem resurfaces?
  8. I tried imaging my 30gb onto the 40gb drive mentioned above and it states the drive cannot be used in my Z2. I used Acronis under Windows Vista 64. Could the Z2 or Acronis be the more likely problem. I increased the MSV partition out to about 20 gb. Thanks.
  9. ok, i'm not a newbee by any means but I've got some of the same updating issues as others....Hyperite....I will pay my $50 gladly as soon as I get this working. 1. I have a March Z2 unit with Ver 1 software PUI-C or something like that. I unlocked the drive and rew.rote the software to the June virgin image PUI-D. My unit took the update and all seemed ok. 2. I have both the HD700 disc ( 7 gb) and your .iso to update. t 3. Both get stuck at 68% and I've hit the retry over a hundred times. Any suggestions? Also, I tried to copy the June virgin image to the 40gb HDD peop
  10. Now we confirmed the software from the June Z2 is completely different from the previous software on the earlier Z2 models. Why would Pioneer go to lengths to do this if the unit is not enhanced or bypassable? That doesn't make much since to me. One might think that someone was coming close or leaked a way to bypass the earlier software? Any other possibilities? Seems like a lot of work for Pioneer to do for nothing.
  11. Radioshack carries the T8 torx. If you wanted to boot the system and everyone should do this....BTW....go to the HARDWARE menu under harddrive and see what version of the software you're running. You can also hold the "reset" and CD-eject buttons on the first boot without actually booting, log into the screen and see what software version your Z2 is using. It should be different from what the rest of us are using. Just my .02!
  12. Has anyone tried a different microphone with the Pioneer BT unit? Has anyone been successful with it working and people hearing better on the other end? Thanks in advance and sorry if posted out of place or previously answered.
  13. Does anyone have a yellow stickered Z2? There are confirmed sightings correct? I think we can all chip in and help someone with a bypassable Z2 unlock his/her drive and distribute the software. Can it really be this hard? What is the delay?
  14. They actually owe all of us money for the time and energy spent trying to figure this out! Time is money and I'm owed a lot.
  15. so as I figured, the serial # can only be used once, and I guess the serial # entered is $250 a pop. This is the last Pioneer product I buy unless they upgrade my Z2 for free at the dealer.
