  1. Oh OK, well we had trouble doing the bypass so we actually took it out and put it back in multiple times. so I don't know how much of the head unit my buddy actually unplugged while he was messing with the mute wire harness and then the parking break harness. I guess maybe it was never completely removed from behind the dash. i don't think everything was disconnected or is that wire you are talking about on the same harness as the MUTE Wire??? And I don't know much about all this, but doesn't there have to be constant power, for the device to even turn on and work? Basically that sounds great
  2. Basically since I got my DVD Double-Din, The USB was Damaged so I always used my Ipod thru the AV2 port. and I couldn't sync my iPod thru the touch screen! So my next solution was to use the SD Card option! I then noticed no matter if I switched the av custom settings or had a DVD or SD Card, when I stopped and turned off my car and came back to Resume where I left off In the Movie loaded in the DVD slot, or half way thru the Folder and song I had playing on the SD Card, Nothing was saved and the head Unit never left off where I left off at??? So I searched the setting to see if I missed some
  3. sorry if i sound dumb guys, but this is defiantly not my expertise! anyhow so reading this blog I have realized it must be something with the Mute Wire on my avic-x9115bt cuz it works tell i hit ten MPH and then says the warning thing! Now the install expert said something about a soldiering iron??? Now I am confused by what I wold need the iron for and I'm assuming i guess soldering the wires together to the ground or mute wire to the harness??? This is a hard and the first Bypass for me and I barely knew what I was doing! Sorry to get off topic as well a CD has also gotten stuck for the 2nd
  4. ISN'T that what it does regardless works until you go over 10mph??? Cuz I have the AVIC-x9115bt in MY '02 Lexus is 300 and maybe it's just cuz as we installed it we tried to bypass the parking brake & mute wire trick right away and we moved the mute wire but we didn't replace the old spot it was in. And there was some argument if we heard a click when we put it in the new spot. Anyways the video keeps playing tell around above 10mph??? So what does that mean if anybody knows??? Now you guys are telling us to check the ground wires and see if the mute wire is in place correctly right? thi
  5. So I have watched all the YouTube how to Videos for the x910 and 930bt avic models. Because apparently the double din DVD Player I have is known as the Mysterious Model and there is NO how to videos or blog/forums discussing or showing how to do the installation or more importantly the BYPASS for x9115bt??? so i have done the mute wire trick then mute wire and green parking brake wire connected to the ground wire and grounded all together, right? so we tried multiple solutions and we are still stuck. the device still says video cannot be watched while in motion. not to mention every once awhil
