Same setup here in 09 Silverado, everything works fine.

Just installed the AVIC-Z140BH in my 09 Silverado along with a Fox Acoustics 2 -10 ported box with Kicker CompVX subs and KIcker ZX1000.1 amp. I'm having trouble finding a good switched power supply for my head rest dvd's and backup camera. I probally need to do a relay setup, so I need constant and switched. Next project is wiring my 4 PIAA lights on front N-Fab Pre Runner light bar. I also need a switched power source under the hood for the wiring harnesses. Maybe run the headrest dvd's , backup cam, 2 light harnesses off the one under hood relay ?? Thanks in advance for any help. G

Is there any way to set the audio/video volume to decrease when the GPS is giving commands ? I know there is a volume setting but I cant find a way to make it "auto dim" audio. I had an Alpine INA-W910 in my truck last week (swapped it for the AVIC-Z140BH) and it did auto decrease the music volume.

Just installed The 140BH in my 09 Silverado 1500 LT Crew Cab. So far Im liking it. Last week I installed an Alpine INA-W910 and took it back out 3 days later. In my opinion it doesnt hold a candle to the AVIC, except for the Alpine lower the music/video volume when giving GPS info. Is there a way to set the Pioneer up to do this ??

Hi all ! New member here, I just finished my install of the new AVIC-Z140BH in my 2009 Silverado. At the beginning of the week I had installed an Alpine INA-W910, not at all liking the features, I swapped it out for the AVIC with a ND-BC5 backup camera. I installed the camera in a OEM tailgate handle bezel (part # 22755304, the old GM number was 25958228). I will try to post pics and answer any questions.
