has anyone figure out the problem, i seem to be having the same issue happening.

Ok so I have a bypassed avic 120 bt. The other day I installed a back up camera and I seem to be having some issues with it. I have he camera wired into the reverse light wiring. Power and ground connected to the right wires on the reverse light. The video plug is connected to the brown head unit connector. The head units reverse signal wire was run all the way to the rear of the car and tapped into the reverse light bulb power wire. The reverse camera was set to on and the polarity set to power. Now when I go into reverse the reverse back up screen does NOT come on. If I have the navi uni

ok i was thinking of updating my maps for my avic z2. called pionner and they told me to go to the site. i went to the site and they have the upgrade disks for like 150.00 bucks. thats retarted. i was wondering if anyone on here has the disk and is willing to share it. or if there is a link on here that gives everyone access to the upgrades. thanks in advance to anyone who helps out

ok guys im going to be getting a avic d3 for my truck. i was wondering what i need to do the install i believe i need... 1. wire harness 2. trim kit 3. antenna adapter. now i was wondering where can i get those from? and suggestions or recommendations? what brands? also does anyone know what color wires the vss, reverse light, parking brake are and where they are located? anyone that could help or that has done the install and has advice or info would be greatly appreciated.

ok i just put a pioneer nd bc2 rear view camera on my car. it was raining the other day and i guess water got on my lense and it was all blurry. is there any way i could put rainx on the lense that way water would more than likly slide riight off. or will the rainx damage the lense. i know rainx has a warning about applying to sratch treated glass and other glass which i forgot at the moment but i just want to make sure before i destroy my knew camera

yea sorry for the delay. the trim kit is the sosche kit. i used black bumper paint i beleive to paint it. u can get it at any auto supply store. i used that becasue someone else recommended it. also i mounted the ipod unit and the blue tooth unit behind the avic unit i think i stuck them on my factory air box or something. i suppose there not in the best location but no problems yet. the ipod cable goes into my glove box that way i can hook up the ipod and throw it in there. the blue tooth mic is mounted by my sunroof switch. im thinking about relocating it because i get really bad echo. a

well the only thing i can think of is that ur getting the heat lock out. my system does that too. i havnt yet done the bypass myself, but my system will freeze on the splash screen when it gets really hot outside. ws it really hot where u were at??? its possible that when u were done driving the car was left in a really hot place and the system wouldnt boot up because of the heat. this happens to me all the time when it gets really hot inside the car, and my system isnt bypassed. i was told to run the ac in the car for a while till it cools off and then restart the system and that shoul fix it

are u sure, i was on pionners website and was looking at the dynamics thing, and the avic z1 was listed as being compatible with it.

man that sucks, i really wanted to get that. i wonder why it will work with the z1 and not the z2, maybe cuz we did the bypass it will work?

should the 2 wire bypass be done before or after you upgrade the z2? or does it not matter? once the bypass is done will the rear view camera work? is it possible to hook up the pioneer vehicle dynamics processor? thanks

i checked on nero and i dont see that option, burn as image or whatever anyone want to send me a cd that works??? any local to chicago?
