I got me a new hammer! Thought I would try it out by re-beating this dead horse! VBlue42 is right about the cheapo cables not working, but I found an alternative that does and it works everytime. The Kenwood cable is way cheaper and has the same functionality and connections. It's about half of the Pioneer cable. Just an FYI
