  1. That would be Pioneer. They won't fix it themselves but they'll probably screw who ever is trying to fix it.
  2. I do have appradio un-installed, along with car keyboard. I can't find the trick to getting it to work, it seems totally random. When it connects it does work great! I've tried opening AR first then connecting to Appradio, pairing bluetooth first then opening AR and finally connecting to Appradio. There doesn't seem to be a way that works everytime. I've browsed all the forums, but I can't find anybody with the same phone having my exact issue. Thanks for the advice on the root kit though.
  3. OK, so your root program worked. I guess that was my problem. Now I can get the app to work, but it takes quite a bit of fiddeling. I still have to pair it every time I power the car off, and I've found I have no audio (on App Audio Sources) UNLESS, I turn the bluetooth connection off, in that specific app. For example, Pandora had no audio, I went into Pandora's settings, turned off Bluetooth Audio, and now I have sound. Same with my music gallery. Is this normal?
  4. Thanks Kman. I did what your first post says, I got the red dots but from the radio I can't tap the dots. Let me try your utility, I'lll get back shortly
  5. OK, so what am I doing wrong? I've rooted my phone, un-installed appradio- app from my phone and cleared the previous bluetooth connection. I now connect my phone, and immediately get a pairing request. I hit pair, open up the app and all I get is "connecting". No dots, no connection. I am using a Motorola Driod Razr on 4.0.4. I've gone to the developer's site and can't find line by line instructions on how to do it, so I hope I'm just missing a step or something. Was I supposed to take out Car Keyboard or Car Media Player?
  6. Can anybody reccommend a Root program that a "Everyday Jim" can use? I'm not the best with this stuff, and I don't want to end up destroying my phone trying to root it.. Thanks
  7. Correct me if I'm wrong, but all I see for CM10 is Beta, and has some glitches that are still being sorted out.
  8. Last Tuesday ( I think), my phone showed updates available for the AppRadio App, Car Media Player and Car Keyboard. I did all of the updates, and have seen no difference. Still won't stay paired, my phone asks every time I start my car to pair. Does anybody know what they were for, or supposed to do? I have read all of the threads and I have not seen the answer to my question. If I missed it I apologize.
  9. Everytime I call Pioneer they tell me "The OTA Update is what caused the problems, it's not on their end they can't fix it" . All I can tell you is it's been a looonnnnggg time since I had an AppRadio2 that worked. I did the unthinkable and purchased a "iTouch" just to have something to listen to. It kinda defeated the purpose of buying the AppRadio2. Not only did I pay more for Android Connectivity ( that doesn't connect) but I had to buy an iTouch. So far it's a 600 dollar Am/Fm radio (the AppRadio2 and iTouch) and I'm wearing a bluetooth headset while driving. Pioneer really Sh*t t
  10. So it works. It seems to be reliable, so far about 4 on/off's with the car and it connected everytime both Bluetooth to the radio and Wifi to my Android. Pandora is way faster when the app is coming from the iTouch vs my Android when I had it connected. iTunes sucks balls, and having to convert all my files to make them sync with iTunes took just about 8 hours. So I have plenty of music and a reliable connection, but no way am I sticking with iAnything. My Droid does way more then this (iTouch) or the iPhone, it's faster and has 3 times the camera this P.O.S has lol.. IF an
  11. Thanks Blue, I'm going to Best Buy now and getting an itouch. I'll keep my fingers crossed
  12. If i connected an iPod Touch with the iPod cable that comes with the AppRadio2, leaving my Android un-connected. Now setting my Android to be a Mobile Hotspot and connecting the iPod Touch to the WiFi of my Android. Using all of the apps available for iPod (Pandora, Nav Etc) would that work? Still using my Android for phone calls, but all media coming from iPod Touch.
