ah... i use a extension for usb and aux in my car for connect iphone please help me

Hi guys, i've a problem.. i have a brand new pioneer avh 3400 dvd (italian model of 4400 bh but with no BT). i've bought a cable ca.iw.201v and woth cydia display out i can't see a display of my iphone 4 on the unit 3400 dvd. why? i've see a lot of video and topic about this, why my cable doesn't work? i have to buy another type of pioneer cable? thank u ! sorry my english.
