  1. Where would you connect the other end to make the bypass work?
  2. XM only lost repecption going under a bridge or in deep canyons like Glenwood Canyon in Colorado or The Virgin River Gourge in Arizona with XM antenna on the dash. GPS would stop working and tell me I'm in downtown Los Angeles when I'm in Denver Colorado or South Orange County, California.
  3. I have heard that copies of the maps disc will cause the laser pick up in the AVIC-D3 to fail. Is this true?
  4. I've had mixed results this way. In my 2007 Honda Civic I had both on the dash. XM worked well, the GPS not so well. I'm putting my D3 in to a 2012 Subaru Forester next week. I should know then if it works at all.
